there has been some good advice posted about diet and exercise. just one thing I need to clear up. A pound is a pound be it fat or muscle. ok? nuff said. measuring is a great idea and monitoring bodyfat is also better than scales

how much weight are you trying to lose per week? some people try to lose 2 or more lbs a week. that may be too drastic especially if you only need to lose less than 10-20 lbs

the way I was taught was 1-1.5 G / KG. for you that is only 53.63 or 80.45. Far more reasonable amount to get in.

it takes a while for your body to adjust to all that extra water. you are better to slowly add aglass at atime over a few weeks instead of immediately drink alot. good luck :drinker:

you have been given a blessing in disguise. P90X is one hr long and you only need some bands or light weights and a pull up bar. if you get started now you will be in such awesome shape and also a habit will have been formed to set aside the time towork out. go and kick some booty!

in your case you would need to do a more accurate BF measurement. IE caliper/ immersion

Ok I guess I will go first. Initial test done on Friday. 30 pushups. this sent me to week 4. monday 21,25,14,13, max 21. I took longer than 60 seconds inbetween. I may be on week 4 for awhile lol. Good luck everyone.
