  • Nutella. Love it too much to give up!!! Ummmm peanut butter and nutella sandwiches=pure delight
  • Last year I used to meet with a PT twice a week. He seriously kicked my butt and 2 days after our workout session my arms and legs would feel extremely stiff and the pain was intense. In fact my arms were basically useless and I was more or less trapped up stairs because my legs would actually tremble when I attempted…
  • Don't give up. It is very easy to lose motivation and put off eating right & working out until tomorrow...and then the day after that...and so on. Before long, weeks go by and you feel like kicking yourself in the *kitten* for not staying on top of your game. I'm speaking from experience. Just set up a workout schedule and…
  • LOL, yeah the tush is important. We definately need to keep the curves in all the right areas. Lunges and squats will work well for this. After you increase your endurance, try holding weights while doing them. Oh- and according to my trainer, the deeper and slower the lunge- the more effective it will be. Trust me on this…
  • The minnestroni soup is very good. If you do decide to get an entree, ask the waiter/waitress for a take out box and immediately put half your meal in the box. This will help fight any temptation to eat the whole dinner while you are at the restaurant. OHH- AND GO EASY ON THE BREAD STICKS
  • I agree with the post to a certain degree....if you diet-then yes you will most likely gain the weight back (plus some). I have seen it happen to too many people to not believe that is true. HOWEVER, if you are making a lifestyle change (big difference) then you are not relying on some fad to keep you healthy and skinny.…
  • How touching!!! I am blown away at your success, I can only imagine the effect you are having on your family as they can see the challenges you face first hand....You are an amazing woman and good job for paving the road for your family to follow!! :flowerforyou:
  • They have a lot of great products...been buying my breakfast bars and protein powders from them for over three years. My daughter absolutely LOVES the kid vitamins. I tried them and wasn't too impressed but she is five and totally into them...every day reminding me about her "vitabears" ( because they are shaped like a…
  • I didn't even check the news today so I had no clue.....How unbelievably sad! My heart go out to all their families...God speed soldiers, RIP.
  • Love PB with banana's! Not many people like it, but I'm totally hooked. PB on whole wheat bread with Nutella is also good....but not as healthy :)
  • Ideally, the answer would be work out...run...exercise. But honestly, I love to grab the car keys and just drive. No destination...no plan-Just Drive! Find a nice scenic road and turn up the radio and enjoy the time alone. Later, when my mood is better, I hit the gym and focus on the work out. Hope this helps!
  • Hi there, I just started measuring and I was thinking of checking once a week. I already do a Monday weigh in..so i'm planning on adding the measuring to my Monday morning ritual. It may be premature to measure once a week but I don't see the harm in keeping a close eye on any improvements/changes. Hope this helps! Good…

  • I have the melaleuca Vanilla Protein shakes. I add a few fresh strawberries and blend. Pretty tasty!
  • Hello all, I am not exactly a new mommy...my "baby" is a five years old, beautiful little girl! I have yo-yo'd on my weight for years and I am completely sick that I have still not reached my pre-pregnancy weight. I didn't exactly have a smooth delivery and ended up having surgery a week after my daughter was born. Due to…
  • Carrot sticks and celery sticks ---you may want to keep a small container of peanut butter at your desk (if your not allergic to nuts!!!) just so you can treat your self to something indulgent from time to time. Goes great with the celery! Yogurt covered raisons and fresh fruit is also a great snacking ideas. Slices of…
