Tuesday check in Calories - over Exercise - none Sounds like a bad day but it hasn’t really been all that bad. I’ve eaten good food but just a little too much
-
I deal with that too. One thing I did was to do stretches often every day and get a massage ball for the arch of my foot. I’ll be honest, I hate the way the massage ball feels but it helps so much. Good luck!!

Sunday check in Calories - under. I’m over on carbs but I cannot decide if I care about that. It isn’t much but I tend to really fret over carbs. Exercise - 2 walks today totaling about 12,000 steps. One walk was on the beach which is so de-stressing and wonderful. Goal for tomorrow is to really watch what I eat at work…

Saturday check in Calories: exactly on 😄 Exercise - nothing but got ALL of my steps. YAY!! Hopefully will be able to hike tomorrow

@Wishusdonna I’m sorry you had to go through all of that but am so happy you’re doing better.

@leonadixon Family time is such a great, fulfilling time. I tend to want to eat and eat when I’m with family but something that I have to realize is that really I’m just happy. And for some reason that happiness translates to wanting to fill my mouth 😁 Try eating your dinner and then just stepping back and really taking in…

Sunday (weekend) check in Saturday not great because we went out to eat. I felt so bad all day Sunday which really shows me that what I put into my body really matters. Sunday - under on calories Goal for Monday is not to over indulge when I come home from work. I will be really hungry because there won’t be much…
-
@Jactop I’m very sorry for your loss.

@AustinRuadhain Not yet. I’m really getting a slow start - I have a million excuses but I just need to stop with those and get to work.

Hi, My name is Jami and I’m new to the team. I live in San Diego so there’s lots of opportunities for activities but I work about 50-60 hours a week so that doesn’t leave much time for me to enjoy it. I’m looking for indoor workouts I can do in my living room and I think this weeks Moderators workout should really help. I…

Funny enough on the day this happened I hadn’t taken my daily fiber. So, I’ve increased protein and added my fiber back in and everything is much better
-
Thank you to everyone, I’ll give more protein a try.

That's great. Stay the course. Look into inflammatory foods and how that contributes to heart disease.

I'm in the same boat. I'm trying to change multiple things at once. No tv - it's gone! And I thought I would miss it but it's a relief. Strangely it has helped with my eating. Instead of being bored in front of the tv and eating I find something to do - exercise, puzzles, cleaning, whatever. For me, I did not realize how…

That's a good thought too. I don't have much flexibility at all. When I squat I can barely lower before I start to lose balance. Plus, most of the time if I try to stretch I find that I can't fully straighten my left leg without feeling like I'm going to rip a muscle - so there's some definite tight muscles that need…

Great job. You look great!!
-
Thanks. I'm laughing that it actually has a name - I thought I was just doing them wrong.

I lost a pound - YAY!! I had plateaued for about two weeks. Started lifting weights so maybe that was the difference. I'm not up to anything heavy weight but I LOVE strength training.
-
Great job

I'd like to join too. I have almost 60 pounds to lose but losing 20 by September would be an awesome start. We try to eat clean but we're not strict with it. Main points for us are organic, grass fed, cage free, and no soy. SW: 211 CW: 204 GW: 145

Thanks everyone. I had never heard of the 5x5 but I've seen people on here talking about it. I'll give it a try

Complete mom moment - you're making me tear up. I completely understand and empathize. BUT - we are each amazing, unique, gifts to this world and it is up to us to remind ourselves every day.

Thanks so much for your story - very truthful and honest.
