I eat 1200-1500 calories daily but I track my carbs, protein and fat more than the calories. I also don;t eat back my exercise calories (per my trainer's instructions).

I plan EVERY meal EVERYDAY. Even on my indulge days, I plan it out to allot for the extra carb/vcalories/fat that I will intake. I also pack my food the night before...all 6 meals to make sure I am prepared. When I run errands, I take my food in a lunch box cooler to make sure I do not make bad choices while I am out. My…

Abs are made in the kitchen. That's what my trainer tells me. You can do all the exercise int he world but until you get rid of the layer of fat over those abs, you'll never see it. So with a good amount of cardio and low carb diet, flat abs are possible.

That's very extreme and you are putting your body...organs into harms way by losing so much so quickly. Ideally, one should lose max 2 lbs per week. 2lb/wk would be max but 1lb/wk is reasonable and safer.

I've been so sore that I couldn't walk down the stairs---or it was VERY difficult. The soreness lasted about 4 days but it subsided by day 2. Now I take BCAAs when I know I will workout hard. This has really helped minimize the soreness.

I remind myself... If YOU want it, you'll find a way. If YOU don't, you'll find EVERY excuse.

My weight goal is 120-125 lbs OR a size 2/4. I take in 1200-1400 calories but do not eat back my exercise calories. I've lost 32 lbs since Feb 15, 2011. But my biggest accomplishment is dropping the fat %. That's more important to me than actually being thin. I want to be fit and toned so my goals are not so much weight…

I also bought a new scale and there was a 4lb difference. I adjusted my starting weight to account for this new scale and weighed in the exact weight it showed on the new scale. It's showing me weighing more but I my new starting weight is also 4 lbs higher...therefore, my overall weight loss is still the same. :)

Low carb really helps drop the fat and not just the weight. I've lost 30lbs in 4 months but I;ve also gained lots of muscle. My body fat has dropped from 33% to 25%. I still have carbs but it's thew good clean kind and nothing after 4pm.

I have lots of foods that I can not eat, (cereal, bread, chips, cheese, etc) and have it in my home for the rest of the family. I keep it because I have to learn to live with the temptation all around me. That's how life is. You can't control every situation so you have to learn to say no...even in your own home.

mushrooms, green onions, asparagus in egg white omelet. YUM

I would remove the milk and use non fat or silk milk that has lower fat content or go with plain water. It likely will not be as decadent but sounds like it already has some yumminess in it.

Stairstepper---not the kind that just goes up and down pedals. The kind that looks like stairs rolling down. That's a KILLER cardio workout.

Sounds YUMMY! I'll try it tomorrow.

Do not confuse the ounce of weight with the fluid ounce, because they are not the same; there is no standard conversion between weight and volume unless you know the density of the ingredient. Dry ingredients measured in ounces is weight not the volume ounces. A cup (8 ounces liquid) of pasta is not the same as 8 ounces in…

I use the C25k app on my Iphone. Love love love it. Good luck. It's good to set goals.

I deduct mine---just to be true to myself. I figured I am measuring everything I eat, I might as well be true for what I burn too.

Yesterday was supersets of the following muscle groups: legs, abs, back, shoulders, and triceps...lasted for about 1 hour then did 45 minutes on the stairstepperwith the moving steps kind of stairstepper..not the up and down kind. LOVE it.

Adidas' ClimaLite line is WONDERFUL. I get mine from Sports Authority. Specifically, the ClimaLite training shorts are great. I have a big booty but it stays covered with these shorts. Good luck

My trainer said within 2-3 days of insufficient nutrients, your body will begin the starvation mode.

I quit kickboxing for the exact same reason. My knees would hurt so bad, crackle, pop, grind, you name it, my knees were doing it. So I went to see my Dr and he said that kickboxing is too high impact then adding the turns and stances, I was just aggravating it. So...I quit doing kickboxing and found another cardio to do.…
