  • Wow lucy, sounds like you've done well. I'm only 2 weeks in and lost 5kg (11lbs) and two inches off my waist. Most importantly I'm not always hungry like before and I feel AMAZING!! Can't wait to see the results at the end of the 3 months

  • Thanks for you replies. I feel up to doing exercise (when I get time that is) but have been told that I should wait 4 weeks. Will definitely start light with walks and work it up :)
  • 36 weeks I'd put on 13lbs, 10 days post-partum I'm -2lbs on my starting weight :)
  • I done my labour on just gas and air, it honestly isn't as bad as I thought it'd be. Because of internal bleeding I had to be taken to theatre after the birth and have internal stitches, for the theatre I had to have an epidural and I hated it. Not being able to feel your legs properly etc I have no idea how woman actually…

  • Thanks for sharing. Yes I've been pottering about my house all day waiting for my partner to get home before I go for a walk outside just in case it starts to progress quickly. I was planning a home birth so I'm hoping I go into natural labour tonight !
  • Hi, feel free to add me. I'm now 38 weeks so only have two weeks to go! I'm 21, living in the UK and this will be my first child :) I'm getting married at the end of July so will definitely be on here between the birth of my baby girl and then. I've found MFP a great help in the past at losing weight and may have a slight…
  • <<<< 36 weeks and 4 days :)
  • I pretty much eat what I want, I log my food onto myfitnesspal though to see how many calories I have consumed and on some occasions I've gone over my maintenance+200 (3rd trimester) by 700 cals, so I've completely eaten way tooo much! (usually this is when I log my food the following day after a big binge) I've gone for…
  • thanks for all the advice ladies! I managed to get a fairly decent sleep last night, only waking up 4 times, YAY! It was a much cooler night here in England last night so possibly the temperature of the room is causing me to wake up on the previous nights? I'm not sure if it's a pregnancy thing but i have definitely…
  • Is it just the tea that works or can you take the capsules/tablets instead?
  • I am the same with the epidural, I'm bad enough with normal needles, have you seen the size of that one :noway: ? Also if it's not done properly you can get paralyzed so I personally don't think it's worth the risk. I've also heard pethidine makes the baby sleepy but also you feel sleepy and 'drugged' up which doesn't…
  • Thanks for sharing all your experiences girls :) I'm not sure if I would be able to facilitate a birthing pool as we pretty much have carpets throughout our place, although the idea of it is nice. What pain relief (if any) have you had? Being at home I will only be able to have gas and air which is fine as I wouldn't want…
  • Pregnant with first child, we are calling her Lily Mae :flowerforyou:
  • bump, will post measurements on here after i have my baby  :flowerforyou:
  • bump for later
  • I'm also worried about not gaining enough weight in pregnancy (33wks + 4days) and that is why I'm still logging on MFP whilst being pregnant to make sure I'm not undereating. I agree with the other comment, you may want to see a counselor just in case you have developed an eating disorder as I'm not bothered if I go over…
  • this ^^^ also if you are that concerned with going over on one day, if you have the app you can check if you are are over your weekly calories, focus more on that :D
  • Kerry, 21, Essex, currently 33 weeks pregnant so not using MFP to lose weight atm but will be hitting it hard after the baby arrives :) feel free to add me, I'm on here pretty much every day :flowerforyou:
  • Hi, I'm 33 weeks pregnant and using mfp to ensure i'm getting enough cals each day, most days i actually go over - if you can't enjoy that extra biscuits when you're pregnant when can you enjoy it? lol My midwife told me that I shouldn't start exercise unless I was exercising before frequently, not even light jogging :(…
  • Last time I went to Toby Carvery the couple next to us had huge piled up plates and they looked as slim as anything and they both cleared their plates. So not everyone that piles up their plate is going to be wasting their food. I know I was brought up to clear my plate so whatever I put on my plate I eat it, if there's no…
  • Thanks for your reply I'll have a look into those routines ???? :)
  • 21, feel free to add me :) ETA: currently haven't got my diary open as I'm pregnant but I am logging on MFP daily to help me to not completely over eat , will open it back up once I've had her and dieting to get my pre-pregnancy body back. :flowerforyou:
  • I'm the same, I love my crisps (chips) and salty snacks. Although I'm now 33 weeks pregnant and have completely gone off of savory snacks and crave sweet things, strange huh? I wouldn't of looked twice at a piece of chocolate or cake but I really struggle to resist them now
  • Hi, If you are really concerned with going over your calories etc. try and focus more on your weekly calorie intake instead of each day. Some days you'll be over and some days you'll be under so it eventually evens out. It's good to treat yourself and pizza can be healthy if it's homemade and you top it right, think…
  • Bump for ideas, I'm similar stats to OP and equally don't like gyms.
  • I had this the other night with some left over chicken, subbed the herbs for chilis and paprika though. yum!
