Weights & Inch Loss.. HELP??!!

Hi
what would be the best way to lose fat and gain muscle at the same time. I want to lose inches but I don't want to starve myself and i want to keep and gain muscle.
I've put on about 70inches and this is what i want to lose,I would like to fit back into my old clothes but with more muscle and lose it healthy (before i was skinny fat as i ran a bit and didn't eat the right foods).
Is body weight circuits and heavy weights the best way to go about this? Should i eat a calorie deficit? what ratio should my macros be in order to not lose the muscle i have.
thanks in advance!:flowerforyou:

It is very difficult to lose fat and gain muscle at the same time...it takes a lot of time, attention to details in your intake and your lifting.

Keeping muscle and losing mostly fat on the other hand (inches) is easy...

The best way without starving yourself is to set a reasonable weight loss goal (not 2lbs a week unless you have over 100lbs to lose), logging accurately by weighing your food and start a progressive load weight training program.

As for protien you should get 0.8g for every pound of LBM...and yes a deficet is required to lose weight.

    I do StrongLifts 5x5 3x a week.
