I had a ton of leftover ham after Christmas, too. I made a ham, broccoli and cheddar quiche one night for dinner that was VERY good. You could make it lower-cal by using half egg whites, fat-free cheese, skim milk, etc.

One thing I have always done is add spinach to any ground beef/turkey meatloaf/meatballs/etc. You can't even taste the spinach, and it really bumps up the nutritional value :)

I judge women who use the OB tampons without applicators. Also, people who take advantage of every kind of state assistance possible while driving shiny new cars and wearing clothes/jewelry I'll never be able to afford. GRR!

I've heard that you're supposed to drink half your weight in ounces, for example a 120 lb woman should drink at least 60 oz per day.

Keep them in the freezer - a pharmacist I worked for gave me this advice a year or two ago. Works like a charm!

Thank you! I am amazed at how much stronger I feel after only 5 days. The first day I tried I thought I was going to die. Like you said, I just keep thinking of the end result and it keeps me going.
