My personal experience is that if I don't workout almost everyday, the scale doesn't move. Everyone is different, but you might want to give it a try!

WTG!!! You should be proud of yourself:)

Yeah, stay busy. Anything can be exercise, even if it's not an official workout. Try just a leisurely walk to take your mind off of food. I'm really bad about eating when I'm bored, so I try to stay busy.

I've hiked part of it through North Carolina...wish I had the time and knees for doing the whole thing! Good luck to you!!

The first step is recognizing you're off track! Now just get back in the swing of things and you'll be fine!!! Hang in there:)

I had a fiance like that once...dumped him too, lost weight, and found my husband that I have been married to for 8 years and my weight has been up and down. Good for you for standing up for yourself. YOU are worth being happy and healthy!!

I teach middle school :) I put on a lot of weight during student teaching, so I applaud your proactive effort to make a plan! Use exercise time to do all of the "reflection" you will no doubt have to do for your supervisors. That way you can multi-task. You need the exercise to de-stress. Best of luck to you!!
