  • Checking back in today. Trying to finish up some food related social obligations and get back to basics. Tonight I am supposed to go to meet friends at a Korean fried chicken place. Must use restraint and get my ducks in a row (veggies cut up in frig, measure everything, journal everything) for the up coming holiday…
  • Sign me up. Need to lose 10 lbs, willing to do it in 10 weeks. Need to: -log in daily and keep food journal -exercise 5 days a week -cut back on the vino (empty calories) -enjoy the moment Cheering you all on this journey!
  • I'm here. Doing ok during the week but weekends kill my diet. Fox hunting season is over so maybe I can get on the stick and lose these 10 lbs.
  • You are not alone. My downfall is keeping my self on track on the weekends. I tend to socialize and exercise a lot more. I am busy and don't tend to keep track of portion size. One glass of wine turns into 2 at hunt breakfast. Then I can't even estimate my intake by Sudnay pm, so I give up. Maybe w/ hunt season over and…
  • the barn's is big...my trail/hunt one is portable and small. Vet wrap, 4x4, gauze, clean towel, bute, banamne paste, thermometer, stethescope, betadine, surgical soap, duct tape, quilted leg wraps, elastic wraps, dmso, antibiotic ointment, saline solution that I can squirt (contact variety)...that's all I can remember...
  • You are with the right crowd here!
  • Welcome...this group is good for figuring out how many calories horse type activities can pay out!
  • In Body Pump, we do crunches of all varieties and those god foresaken planks. I think it helps my core, but mostly I am jsut grateful when it's over ; ).

  • I'm here. I'm here...went off the grid for a week in New Orleans (took a cooking class!..bad. bad) I'm back onthe regime now. I will keep in touch. You guys keep me honest!
  • No suggestions but have the same issue...loved having a physical therapist do deep tissue massage on those spots. I have a roller tube that I rock back and forth on. Kills me.
  • I steal a lot of ideas from the Weight Watchers wesite and magazine.
  • Sweatpea, I weighed almost 200 lbs when I gave birth (22 years ago this month!). Stretch marks were everywhere! Time and cocoa butter solved this for me. I have to say some of my girlfriends still have the reminders that they were bigger. Anyone who sees them will be in a position to love you, no matter what.
  • Don't do what I did last night...I promised family I'd make the dish on the cover of Southern Living-all the bad stuff mac and cheese casserole. I put in extra veggies and used low fat cheese but it still had cream soup and sour cream in it. I just guestimated the calories...won't be having that again for a long time...
  • January 2, 2012 47 years old 5'6" 152.1 lbs Goal: 140 Overall pretty healthy diet, but challenged by portion control and that alluring second glass of wine. :ohwell:
  • Lost about 20lbs about 10 years ago on Weight Watchers and it has slowly returned...older, post menopausal, post hyserectomy, working 2 jobs...but I am going to start chipping away at it. Going to Body Pump class and then out to the barn to do some chores. Hunted for more than 2 hours yesterday so I am giving Duffy the day…
  • Weighing in keeps me honest. I'll do it every Tuesday and post my numbers. Heckle me if I back slide...my pony needs me to lose 15 lbs.
