I also have the 7. I love it! When I started using it last Dec my weight came off easier. I was over estimating my cals burned and now with my HRM i know exactly what i've burned. I agree with the others. It sounds to me like you are doing great! Little weight loss is better than none. Losing weight takes time. Stay committed to logging on MFP and maybe get more MFP friends. For me, I found the more friends I had on here, the more motivation and support I rec'd from MFP friends, the easier and more…

I do an atleast an hr on the ellptical sometimes an hr and 30 mins and found that before I got my HRM the machine said I burned a ridiculous amount of cals. If you can, invest in a Heart Rate Monitor which will give you a more accurate calories burned. I recommend thePolar FT7. I did a lot of research on HRM and found from…

I workout at lunch but I work at a fire dept so I am able to take a shower before going back to work. Somedays during lunch I only have time to get a half hr to 40 mins in but I figured every little bit helps. Plus I workout out in the evenings so my lunch time cardio is just a little extra for me.

Hello, Welcome!! I've been on MFP since July. In November I lost enough weight that I was able to stop taking my BP meds. I don't believe I could have lost any weight without the support of MFP friends. Feel free to add me. We can help each other along our weightloss journey.

I am presently in WW with my last meeting being on Thurs. The only reason I joined WW is because my work paid for all but $ 50.00 of it. I've been a member of MFP since June. I lost more weight using MFP then I did with WW. I prefer and will continue to use MFP instead of WW. MFP is free and in my opinion works better for…

I too was uncomfortable doing weight training at the gym (because of all the men). I decided one day, I had every right to be lifting weights asmuch as the men and that I wasn't going to let them intimidate me.So one weekend, I did alot of research on weight training online (bodybuildingtv.com is a great one) so I would…

On average I earn 800-900 cals a day for exercise. I always eat most of them back leaving maybe 100 - 200 cals. If I don't, I feel hungry. At first I wasn't doing that I would just strictly eat my 1200 cals and not my extra calories from exercise and I wasn't losing weight. When I started eating more of what I earned from…

hello, Presently I am doing weight watchers and MFP. My company paid all but $ 50.00 of weight watchers so I figured I would give it a try. Before joing weight watchers I had already lost 38 lbs using MFP alone. I prefer to track my calories/exercise using MFP. I used the WW points systems for a week or so but I much…
