I just have a plain old Oster blender, I think it was about $30 at Walmart. It's nothing special but it gets the job done.

Wow! You look amazing!

Wow! You look terrific! What a great feeling that must be

4 oz of leftover steak from last night and a cup of steamed zucchini

Put your chicken in the crockpot with a can of Italian seasoned tomatoes and cook on low about 6 hours or so.

How many does it make?

59 calories isn't enough to mess you up, you'll be fine!

Definitely - my shoes won't stay on now.

For me, it varies. Sometimes it's easier to exercise, sometimes it's easier to eat healthy. And sometimes it's hard to do both! LOL

I'd been taking my old vitamins at night - just the Target brand women's multi vitamins. I didn't take the One A Days on an empty stomach, I'd eaten just a short time before. I didn't realize they had caffein in them - that's probably part of the problem! I guess I'll try taking them in the morning, and if that doesn't…

Pizza is doom to me. I love it but can't control myself with it. And it adds up so fast! Also cupcakes. And warm chocolate chip cookies. And banana bread.

I like cottage cheese on my whole wheat toast, with a sprinkle of onion salt and dill weed. In the summer I like to put sliced tomatoes on the cottage cheese too.

Steam it and then put a little reduced fat cream cheese in it, let it melt, then stir around.

I hate it. It's confusing. And, I pulled out a dress I wore in the early 80s, size 10, for my daughter, who wears an 8 or 10 now, to try on. It was tiny! She could get it on, but the belt wouldn't buckle. it really brought home to me how sizes have changed.

I take a multi vitamin with iron. Otherwise I tend to be anemic, and I eat red meat a couple of times a week.

Where do you buy Justin's hazelnut chocolate spread? I'd love to try it. Edit: Nevermind, I googled it and the site has a terrific feature that tells you where to buy it in your area!

How much is in a pkg of ground almonds?

Bump - I need to add something, will do it later

Bump - sound great!

I doubt this is what you're looking for, but I love to put a pork sirloin in the crockpot and dump a jar of green salsa on it. Cook it all day, then shred. It's so good!

Talk to your wife. Express to her how important it is to you to eat carefully. Surely she'll support that effort. I do most of the cooking for my family, and I'll make something that I can have plus a side dish that's got a little more calories for them. That way I'm not making 2 meals, but they don't have to eat exactly…

This sounds great! I've been wanting to try a zucchini lasagna.

I had leftover stir fry from last night, which is fine in and of itself, except I think the portion I brought for lunch had almost all the meat in it! Yikes!

I really like the Trader Joe's unsweetened vanilla almond milk.

Hummus. I love it with baby carrots.

It's pretty extreme, but I have to respect his desire to understand what others experience. People who have always been fit can't understand what it's like for those who aren't and who struggle with it. He's only partway there - the change back will be interesting for him. I wonder if it will be easier for him, since he's…

That's terrific!

I have not tried this, but a co-worker just told me about an Atkins recipe for french toast she made this weekend. Which involves crushing up pork rinds and mixing them with eggs and whipping cream. Hurk. What I used to love was A&W onion rings dipped in a root beer float. Amazing.
