I've been taking the longest way possible to walk from point A to point B at work, too! It's amazing how much you can sneak in that way if you work in a big building!! Getting a fitbit really made me realize how it adds up (or doesn't - like on the weekends sitting around the house!!) :) Good luck!

If you are exercising really hard, you could be building muscle, which might mean that you retain fluids more. . . so it might just be hard to measure the results by weight, just yet. I'm sure your efforts are making a difference, you just might not be able to tell by the scale yet.

Um, I think my picky-eater kids have taught me this approach: say thanks, take it, keep breaking it into pieces and moving it around your plate until no one can tell what it originally looked like, or how much is still there, and then say 'I'm done!"

I did a 5K once, back before I had the kids, and I don't remember exactly, but I couldn't have been faster than 30 min. What I do remember was that I placed in the middle of the pack! I'm 166.4 this week, and decided to blame the 0.8 lb increase on hubby going to Las Vegas on business, kids getting sick. With all that, I just didn't get my excercise in! Gonna reconnoiter my forces, and double down to make sure that scale starts heading back the right direction!
