  • I am struggling with this! I have 2 kids and mentally/physically I am happy. Emotionally its hard! We started our family 3 years before we had planned (#1 was a surprise PPT 3 months after our wedding) Now that I am 27 and the age I had wanted to start, we have 2 kids and are done. My little one is 5 months old and is…
  • I wondered about the teething (she is drooling a lot) but she eagerly will take a bottle and finish it as well so I don't think it is for comfort. I have tried pumping first to see and she gets angry if there is no food. I am guessing growth spurt but wish there was a way to convince her to get her calories during the day!

  • Congratulations! The recommendation on working out if you have a normal pregnancy is to do whatever you did before becoming pregnant and not try to improve. Stop at any sign of pain or discomfort. Only you know what you can do, I was only able to walk and do minimal exercise without becoming uncomfortable, a friend did…
  • I do this too as a breakfast and its amazing. I add the banana and its delicious!
  • I totally agree with everything said before. My son would eat anything given to him and my daycare was constantly telling me I wasn't giving him enough food. On the weekends I would nurse him and he would always seem content with what I had so I knew I was pumping enough. They were just trying to pacify him with food since…
  • I am not against cereal either, I gave my son cereal starting at 4 months and now he is 2.5yo and not picky at all. My daughter is now 4 months and shows very little interest so I am not pushing anything on her. I think depending on when we start solids will determine how much cereal we do. Very interesting to see every…
  • It all depends on how active you were before pregnancy and how hard delivery was. I usually start with walking, then walking carrying baby and increase time/length. Abs I usually wait awhile so that they have time to heal from stretching. However, a friend of mine was doing crossfit til the month before she gave birth and…
  • I know where I am going for lunch!!
  • I should have clarified.. Paleo Moms, Weston Price, etc are places that say do not give cereal and there is no need for it. Very few cultures start with cereal so I was curious how many moms use cereal and at what age
  • I have been reading that a lot of the cereals are not recommended anymore and to go straight to fruits/vegetables? Anyone else doing this? My daughter is almost 4 months old and I think I am going to wait til she is closer to 6 months before starting solids and going straight to real foods instead of cereals.
  • yup..I worked on a surgical floor. It will come out one way or another, puking poop is not as uncommon as you might think
  • love it!
  • I don't think the nutritiondata website is accurate. No exercise and it tells me I can eat 2338?? I don't think so. I eat 1500 and lose at a slow rate. I do eat all my exercise calories though
  • I ate all 4 servings in one sitting. Tasty yes, portion control..maybe? not worth the price when I can go to fresh market or somewhere and get the same types of things
  • Ugh I feel the pain! There is no way I can go to the gym before they wake up..way too painful while breastfeeding! But I am at work all day and I feel guilty leaving them at daycare that long just so I can go work out. I always try to go Saturday mornings but that is the only day I can consistently work out. It gets much…
  • most likely shin splints.
  • I had my second, a girl, the first week of december! I am also trying to lose my baby weight. there is a group called Post-partum pack and if you are breastfeeding there is one called breastfeeding support. both are good groups!
  • I am not ready for the mess of solids! That's why I really want to wait. :) I am just exhausted from lack of sleep. My husband works nights so its just me getting up in the middle of the night and some nights I feel like I didn't get any sleep at all. I was spoiled with her the first few months, she slept 10-12 hours…

  • I agree with everything above. When my babies have gone through growth spurts I feel like all I do is nurse nurse nurse! Do not supplement! The baby needs to be able to tell your body you need to make more.
  • Were almost twins! Age 27 Kids: 2 2yo boy, 4mo girl Height 5'4" HW 193 CW 152 GW 130-140
  • bump! now if only we could delete the 100 duplicate entries!
  • that doesn't sound extremely picky... if you google chicken and broccoli recipes you will find hundreds that you could try based off what you like and how much you cook.
  • I love it with eggs in the morning. Sautee in a little olive oil, pour in 3 egg whites and 1 egg. Wrap in tortilla. Sooo good! My favorite breakfast, adds a great taste and texture to the eggs
  • I know its easier said than done but don't stress! Your baby will pick up on the stress, your milk will change flavor a little, it could decrease your supply. Keep offering her the breast whenever you can, even if she just ate. If your baby fusses, stop and try again when she calms down. Just keep trying and hopefully she…
  • Ive heard milk changes around that time so maybe she just needs less? I wouldn't worry about it, a 4 month old wouldn't be starving herself! And since she is sleeping through the night I would say she is getting plenty even though it might not seem like much. I would bring it up with the pediatrician but I wouldn't stress!
  • You have been on here for a month and lost 7 and yet you think this is nothing? That's great weight loss! I don't think I have lost that mush in a month ever!!! Gradual weightloss is easier to maintain in the long run
