That I have been snowboarding for 19 years now.
  • That I am childfree by choice and generally not a fan of spending time with children (especially babies).

No I don't hate them. But there's nothing about me that would suggest that I am hardcore, militant-serious about NEVER becoming a parent ever, never would have dated a parent, and so on...

Same thing with me being agnostic.

You're not alone. I'm childfree by choice and an atheist.

I'm with you ladies, though I'm only 24 I'm pretty sick of people telling me that being a mother is the most rewarding thing I will ever do.

And when I was pregnant people would sometimes scowl at me and say "Where's the father? A baby having a baby!" things like that.

One of my friends got that a few times in the doctor's office and even at supermarket when she was 27 and pregnant with her second child! Although to be honest I think she definitely looked 20-something! More than once, rude strangers would ask her things like if she was staying in school to get her diploma. The first time it happened, she was utterly confused and thought the woman meant college or technical school and had mistaken her for someone else, a classmate perhaps. But they truly thought she was a teen mom. As if it would be okay to say things like that to a teenage mother, anyway...but we've had many laughs about it since!!

Good to know I'm not the only one!

When I was pregnant with my daughter (which I found out about not long after the mall incident) I had this older russian lady at work ask me if school was going to let me back in my "current condition" and if I knew who her father was and if my parents kicked me out for disgracing them. I tried super hard to be nice because of who she was but I got upset. And just simply told her I graduated high school almost 3 years before, I lived with my childs dad, not my parents and I was 22...I've never understood why people have to make nasty comments to people.

I get a lot of shocked looks when I say I'm an engineer for an open pit mine. Apparently women can't have engineering degrees and work in a male dominated fields.

What really funny is when I worked with the crews guys would come into the office swearing up a storm then see me a go "I'm sorry". I would replie "What for? I don't give a *kitten* if you swear." The poor worker would have to pick his jaw off the ground while the other supervisors would be laughing.

I'm African American and hate with a passion anything associated with Tyler Perry. I almost didn't see Precious because he was associated with it. My friend had to convince me that he was just a producer and had nothing to do with the writing and directing.
