What are a couple things everyone is shocked to find out about you?

For me its that I have a CHL and a Motorcycle License. And that I kicked butt on two Boy Scout high adventures.

    Most people are shocked to find out that I am 36 and a mother of two.

    Also that I lift heavy weights. They say I look too small to lift weights.

    People are also shocked by the trauma that I went through in my past (but that's sort of dark and negative).

    Funny as it since this is MFP - however people are shocked by how much I weigh and what size clothes I wear. Apparently I carry my weight well :tongue: Even though I dis like it anyways lol

    That I am childfree by choice and generally not a fan of spending time with children (especially babies).

    No I don't hate them. But there's nothing about me that would suggest that I am hardcore, militant-serious about NEVER becoming a parent ever, never would have dated a parent, and so on...

    Same thing with me being agnostic.

    That I was once clinically obese @ 40%+ body fat and lost almost 100 lbs, put on lean mass and able to maintain sub 10% body fat year around! :tongue:

    Most don't guess that I have tattoos, curse a lot, and often giggle like a school kid at the slightest innuendo. Apparently I portray the Cub Scout mom role well.

    That's how I felt... and then I had two of my own. However, as much as I love my kids, I still shy away when someone tries to hand me a baby, saying, "Isn't he/she/it cute?" I try not to respond, "I like puppies."

    ETA: MY kids.... just my kids. :happy:
