If you're on Facebook there are several running groups that are amazing. Two that I would recommend are Pathetic Runners and Women's Running Club. Both are very supportive and I've learned a lot from them.

I add 2 tbs of peanut butter to my oatmeal every morning. I don't even use sugar anymore even when I use sugar-free PB. The PB helps give it sticking power and it's quick and easy. That happened to me a few weeks ago, the scle at the dr's office said I was 10 pounds heavier! I started freaking out then calmed myself and just decided that since I have been using my home scale for the whole process then that's the one I am listening to.

I get it too. I am training for a half marathon and it's usually on the day when I add time/distance to my run. I didn't know I needed to eat as soon as I was done if I smelled that though. Great info. Thanks.

I am! I have been homeschooling for 9 years. I have an 8th grader and a 7th grader. One of the best choices we've ever made. I love being with my girls and watching them love to learn and grow up at their own pace.
