Clean eating varies from person to person... but for the most part it's about eating as close to natural as possible. So yes, frozen fruits and vegetables are fine as long as there are no additional ingredients (artificial/natural flavorings). Like some people, I'm okay with some boxed/canned/"processed" foods as long as…

I'm a 46 year old grandmother who needs to re-lose 40+ pounds. I gained a bunch of weight back, but looking to go back to what works for me... tracking on MFP and eating clean the majority of the time. Feel free to add me! :)
-
I also took a break from tracking on MFP and went overboard with sugars and processed carbs... paid for it on the scale. Back to tracking and eating clean as much as I can without feeling deprived! ;)

I try to eat clean, as in not a lot of processed of foods... organic/grass fed/non-gmo when possible. But I still like my indulgences now and then.

Hi all! I know, I've been MIA for long time, but I am slowly working my way back. Been off track for more than year due to work, my own health issues, and then some issues health issues with my mom. Unfortunately I have gained back a lot of weight, but I'm ready to start focusing on my health once again. Hope everyone is…

Okay, did something today I have never done before... while at the Mexican restaurant, I managed to get through the whole meal without any of the chips and salsa sitting on the table in front of me! Woo hoo! And I totally enjoyed the meal (and the company) without those darn chips. Definitely makes me think I might finally…

Hello and Happy Monday! Just stopping by to see how everyone is doing. I'm struggling with getting back on track after months of medical issues, work stress and recovery from surgery. Put on a lot of weight so I'm spending more time getting down on myself than actually doing something about it... but I'm hoping this will…

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas Eve! Been a busy day of house cleaning, running last minute errands, and trying to pretend that it's my "be lazy and do nothing day"! LOL
-
Weird... typed up a post, hit "post reply" and nothing. Huh... Anyway, just checking in, saying hi, and hoping the next 8 hours fly by so I can start my time off! LOL Looks like everything is doing well! easmythcrna - hope your wife gets out of the hospital today! hmrjmr1 - Congrats on the Primal Blueprint Certification!!…

Happy Monday! So excited that I only have to work two days this week. Hard part will be eating good while home for five days. I have tendency to overeat at home... but luckily Hubby doesn't allow a lot of junk to come into the house. LOL
-
Glad she doing better! I will keep her in my thoughts and prayers!

Did a lot of sitting yesterday... work, wrapping gifts, watching the Nutcracker... but made up for this morning. 11 mile training run (okay, more walk than run), that definitely put some steps on my fitbit!

Good morning! Back in the office today. Will be so happy when this project it done. Putting in the extra hours now so I can have Christmas Eve off and the day after Christmas off (both days are work days for us). With any luck I can get the bulk of this project done today and finish it up on Monday and Tuesday. A lot of…

Good morning, everyone! Had our office gathering last night, just our little section, so a small group of us met at the local sports bar. Was a lot of fun and great to get away from the office stress of the past week. Today is Therapy Pet visit day. Once a month, my 3 year old black cat, Mikey, goes to the local retirement…

Had a stressful day and even more stressful evening but managed to avoid the temptation to eat-for-comfort. Had a great weigh in this morning at Weight Watchers, but not sure how it happened. Only had 2 good days of good eating and tracking.
-
I was able to do that for a very short time before I started obsessing about gaining a pound or two (even though, rationally I knew that my weight would fluctuate day to day). But for the most part, I can't weigh everyday because if I have a good day and showed a loss, I think it's okay to eat more and if I gained then I…
-
DebSue - love the pic! My hubby hid my scale when he saw I was becoming to obsessed with weighing everyday. So now I just weigh in once a week at Weight Watchers. Not always happy with the number, but it's usually what I expect -- and deserve! LOL

I don't usually have a lot going on in my life, but with work getting busy (and will be through the first of the year), trying to get ready for the holidays, and some ongoing medical issues, I feel like my eating and exercising are hit or miss. Not giving up, but some days I'm just too tired to care... LOL I know things…

Good morning! My week isn't starting off as good as I would like (for food, water, exercise), but I'm not giving up. Still have three full days before my weigh in and I can do this! I just love reading all the posts... just wish I had time to comment on all of them. Just know that I'm reading them and cheering…

Didn't make it into work yesterday, so I'm here bright and early this morning. Okay, not really bright... more of a cold, icy, snowy morning. ;) Got most of my Christmas shopping done yesterday morning. Eight stores (in eight different locations... no mall where I live) in under 3 hours. Having a list, planning the route,…

Quick post today. Eating a nutritious breakfast than off to do the bulk of my Christmas shopping. Then it's back to the office for a few hours of work

Well, crap... busy day at work and now I can't remember how many times I've filled my water mug. So I'm either at 32 or 48 oz...

I am also a former Diet Coke addict. Gave it up two years ago and have not gone back (though the temptation is always there!). Someone told me that if I tried to drink it now, I probably would be disgusted by the flavor. I keep that in mind whenever I'm tempted. I recently gave up sweetener in my tea so daily liquids are…

Good morning and happy Friday! Finally! Had a good day with eating and tracking yesterday, even with going out to dinner with my husband. Gives me hope that I can get back on track! I even got my step goal on my Fitbit yesterday. Today is a new day so I plan on making the most of it! Hope everyone is having a fabulous…

Oh wow... that is a lot of water for CA! Hope all is well with you, Heronh!! Howie - So glad you are checking in with us... we were starting to worry about you! I completely understand the need to be with a group of like minded people that you click with. That's probably why I *still* go to Weight Watchers after 10 years!…

Okay, got my 64 oz in for the day! I'm sure I'll drink more, but I love knowing I got that out of way!

I need to get back to counting calories as well. I like the Paleo eating (with my occasional carbs), but I have gained A LOT of weight since trying to eat Paleo and NOT count calories. Going to try both and see where it gets me. I hate being obsessive about counting calories (and balancing the calories in/calories out) but…

Good morning and Happy Thursday! I weighed in at Weight Watchers this morning... wasn't going to so I drank my morning water (24-32 oz) and wore my "heavy" clothes. Then on the drive to the center I realized I needed to weigh in for the accountability. I was up, but not sure how much of that was water/clothes and how much…

80 ounces (possibly 96 oz... I lost track) drank for the day! :) I can't seem to get the activity in or eat right, but at least I'm drinking my water! LOL
