Mon 03/11/13 04:21 PM QUOTE: I can tell you, my ice cream is not junk. Have you met the cow that made it or did you get it in a store? Price? How was the milk used to make the ice cream produced? Were the cows stressed? What type of injections were the cow given? Is the belief that your ice cream isn't junk based on…

I'm pretty good with things at home, where I really struggle is at social gatherings with lots of chips, pizza, wings, burgers, picky foods available. I wind up eating way more than I or any other person ever should. Gets worse when alcohol is involved...

Enters... Reads some posts, cracks a Diet Mt Dew, and leaves. Nothing to see here.

Yes you can... One day, one workout, one meal at a time! Add me if you like!

Check out my diary, but the key is lots of lean protein. Lean pork roasts, eggs, turkey breast, tuna fish, chicken breasts, and Greek yogurt will keep your protein high and fat pretty low.

<Obsessed with mfp and weight loss since 5/2011. Life in general is much better this way!!

I lost my first 90 pounds using walking only for exercise. I was so out of shape, that was all I could do, but with time I got in better shape and started tougher workouts. So to answer your question, you can definitely lose weight with walking as your only exercise!

Great job!!

Ate pretty much nothing but junk food, and only went over my calories by 19. Positive spin!

Eat at a deficit, do your planned workouts and don't worry too much about the size of your deficit. At your weight your body can tolerate really large deficits well. I know because I've been there. If 2500 a day works for you, eat it!

No surgery needed. Lost 160+ pounds with exercise, and consistent calorie deficit. I did it, you can too! Edit to add: nothing worth doing is easy! Even surgery is hard

Actually by losing weight, and raising my belly higher I went from a 32 inseam jeans to 36 inseam jeans. So while not taller, I do love that my inseam is now larger than my waist size!

Whenever I don't feel like working out I remind myself that the toughest step is always the first step out the door. Once you're on your way and working out, that is something you'll NEVER regret!

The toughest step is the first step out the door.

You've lost 22 pounds. Great job on the loss! Make sure your accurately tracking your calories. Weigh and measure your food, give it time and the results will come.

I was a master of this.... That's how I got here in the first place!

Eggs... Lots of eggs!

Counting calories has taught me how to eat properly. I've refined what good food is, and what foods that I used to enjoy just aren't worth it. In short I've gone from 360 pounds to 200 pounds and totally changed my life! Almost as life changing as calorie counting is exercise, give that a shot too!

Please for the love of God eat something! Not trying to be a smart *kitten*, but feed your body! Unless your extremely obese you should not be netting so little calories each day. Exercise, eat healthy foods, and give time for your body to change. Make this a lifestyle change and the added bonus is, the weight won't come…
