Believe me, I'm not reducing my calorie intake. If you'd read my food diary on here, you'd see clearly that I'm eating the required amount of calories and sticking pretty close to every other area such as fats and sugar intake, etc. I upped my calorie intake in fact to about 1350 instead of the 1200 MFP told me in hopes to…

I've lost a total of 14.75 inches, that is totaled from arms, thighs, hips, stomach, butt, and chest above the breast but under the arms. Thanks everyone for the boost! I'm trying to get over a plateau and have lost 1lb this week, so slow and steady wins the race!

That happens to me all of the time with Aldi brand foods.

Any opinions on EAS brand whey?

Just to clarify, when I said almond milk has more sugar, carbs, and fat, I am talking about sugar carbs and fat listed on the label. I'm no nutritionist, so you can sort that out. The only almond milk sold in my area is blue diamond, so that is particularly the brand I am speaking about. I didn't realize protein was such a…

Yes, but I make sure I don't come in under my calories. I always eat my 1200+

This is just a quick google search on protein for women. I am 150 lbs and at max it says I should eat 122 grams a day and I am almost sedentary because of my job which recommends only 50-60 grams a day. http://www.fitsugar.com/How-Much-Protein-Should-I-Eat-165578

I got that number from my nutritionist, so that is where the 35% came from. Of all of the protein shakes, why do you choose whey EAS over say soy?

Excess protein does turn to fat if you aren't using it all. People who lift weights need a lot more protein as well as the reason why men need more protein than women recommended daily. By adding the peanut butter I do get 12 grams of protein in there along with some healthy fats. I average around the max protein a day as…

Keep up the good work! You've made good progress!

Thank you!

It is so easy to do! I can't believe how much my metabolism changed in such a short period of time. Morbid obesity runs in my family, so as far as family goes, I am way ahead of the game, but I just don't want to settle. I know that 125lb girl is in there somewhere! As far as walking vs. running does anyone have any…

Thanks everyone! It took me some courage to post these so it's great to hear some positive feedback!

Wow! I'll have to look into that. What size kettle bells did you get?
-
I would LOVE to try kettle bells, but Planet Fitness only offers VERY BASIC equipment. It is definitely sufficient, but no kettle bells. Did you buy yours or use them at the gym?

I have mine set as sedentary, which besides my 30 minutes of exercise 2-3 times a week, it is sedentary except when I work with kids 2 days a week.
-
Do you always eat back you calories? I have read all kinds of different opinions on this. I just feel like if I do there isn't enough of a deficit at the end of the week.
-
I am a member of Planet Fitness, so that's a good place to do cardio but not a lot of weight lifting. I agree running on a treadmill is much easier. I guess I just felt like I was cheating doing that. lol

Do you think I need to increase my calorie intake or just keep on with the 1200. Some days I do fall under the 1200. Some days it's just plain difficult to track eating at other people's houses like family but I do my best to esitmate with similar searches. What is a road map? As far as C25K goes, I live surrounded by…
