Well I haven't checked the thread because in the UK it's hard to see live hockey, and I don;t want to see any results before I get to watch it (for instance, I have no idea what happened in Game 3!)

I came in 1200 calories UNDER yesterday.... and I ate quite a lot.

2 full sleeves down to the wrist, plus a couple of others dotted around... Now sleeves are done, it's on to the ribs... OUCH!

Women don't (naturally) have the hormones required to produce big muscle.... but that doesn't mean that lifting weights isn't good exercise! (The woman at the top has probably been putting testosterone on her shredded wheat.)

Don't get an Xperia mini.... I loved it in pronciple, but it's too slow and doesn't have the best battery life. Not to everyones taste, but HTC Cha Cha - Android phone withe touch screen AND full qwerty... I love it.

Goes without saying.. (exercise or not) but with 5/6 hours time on the ice, I need something to refuel during the day. Just looking for alternatives to the expensive SIS supplements etc.

That work out is good, but is basically designed for bodybuilding... have a look in to some 'crossfit' work outs to increase your functional (and core) strength.

As long as you use the same weighing mechanism all the time, it doesn't necassarily matter how accurate it is, as you're still tracking your progression. As long as the number is getting lower, it's all good! :o)

44 is the new 34 - rest up, heal and get back to it! I play Ice Hockey and I train with people that didn't even start playing till they were 40..... age is just a number!
