  • I love the training plans found in the book, "Train like a mother". They have plans for all levels. They even note which workouts "must be done" or can be "ditched" for when life is busy and gets in the way.
  • Hip pain is HORRIBLE and can be hard to get rid of once you have it. I get a dull pain when sitting every now and then if I'm not stretching. Keep stretching and foam rolling! One thing that has worked wonders for my pain is Bikram (Hot) Yoga. It's magic! Also - epsom salt baths are amazing. Good luck!!!!
  • Some of my favs - Best pizza dough ever is the "Chebe" Pizza dough. They have other mixes that are pretty good, too. I love Glutino products - except for their frozen pizzas. Try their pretzels for sure! I love nut thin crackers. Pecan with brie cheese on top - delicious! (Trader Joes carries the individual portion sizes…
  • I find that the more items I can have prepared, the better I do. I'll spend more money to have things like trail mix, nuts, and cheese portioned and packaged. Other things that I portion out on my own - hardboiled eggs, fruits, and veggies. I try to concentrate on snacks with proteins or veggies.

  • I'm one month in to being gluten free and I'm struggling with eating enough fats and carbs in a day. It's been a challenge finding healthy foods to fufil my daily caloric goals.
