I don't. They usually figure it out on their own. My 11 year old hasn't told me yet that she knows better, so we just keep pretending. Its fun :)

About the lemons--no, I just eat them! I have since I was a kid, my father always did as well. The only benefit to them is that they have the vitamins like most fruits, and have a good amount of fiber. I just like them! :-) Everyone asks about the lemon lol

I agree. I have ice cream just about every single night. I get plenty of good, nutritious food throughout most days, but I look forward to that ice cream. Hey, it does have protein and calcium :-)

I drink it pretty much every day, but only because I like it. I replaced it for soda. I really have no idea if it helps or not.

Everything that I've done so far, MFP has been higher than my HRM. That doesn't mean that yours can't be right if its the opposite though. Do you have an HRM with a chest strap?

I wish I had tried Zumba long ago! Instead, I was worried about being self-conscious and not being able to keep up the moves. Not the case at all! How long did you try it for? From what I read you might see a gain at first but after a couple of weeks you should see a loss.

Yes, eat those calories! MFP already gave you a calorie deficit. Now you've exercised and made that deficit bigger. Your body needs fuel. Good luck!

It's really ALL about moderation, at least to me. If you take a peek at my diary, you'll see that I don't deny myself ANYTHING. That's the only way I'm able to stick to this.

How long have you been on MFP? 262 days so far! How many calories a day do you eat without exercise calories? 1450 but I'm thinking about bumping it up some. Do you eat your exercise calories? Heck yeah! They taste so good!

Yes. Eat more. Especially if you have an HRM and are sure of the calories that you're burning.

I have a Polar FT4, I hit stop once I'm no longer "in the zone". My zone is 116-151. Sometimes it takes a few minutes after my Zumba class for it to get there!

If you look at my diary you'll see that I have ice cream just about every night! Works for me :-)

You just have to start, and do a little bit more every day! I HATED exercise and was sooooooo out of shape when I first started that I felt the same way you did. Hang in there, it does get better!

I used just the machines for awhile and when I finally did move on to free weights I was sore, in ways I didn't think I would be! That told me that the free weights were definitely isolating muscles that the machines just weren't hitting. I use both now. I love the free weights!
