My goal is 1540, with exercise calories some days (like today) i eat over 2,000 calories.

My favorite is Marie's yogurt dressing Feta Cheese! Sooooo good! 35 cals for 1 tbsp, which is usually enough for me. I also like the Bolthouse dressings that I've tried.

It might seem crazy to eat 2200 calories on heavy workout days, but once you start eating more, you'll feel hungry and want more, at leas that's what I've found. Netting 200 definitely sounds crazy to me :-)

Very inspirational Beef, you've worked your *kitten* off and it shows!

I eat my exercise calories back because they taste extra yummy, and because I'd like to keep my energy level up, in order to work out more. Also, I'd like to preserve the LBM that I have.

Yeah, pretty much weighing it or measuring it will be the only way! It's a pain, but do what ya gotta do :-)
-
These sound delicious, I'll have to try them. Thanks!
-
Of course. It's okay to eat anything you like, once in a while.
-
That's the right attitude! good for you, excellent work!

I'm 43. You don't need HCG shots to lose weight, no matter how old you are.
-
Congrats!! All of your hard work is paying off!

Great video Beef! :)

Sounds about right to me!

I use my HRM and log the calories that I've burned, I create my own exercise. If I didn't, i would probably log it as walking, because I wasn't burning as many calories as I thought I was before I got my HRM. I still love her DVD's though and its great exercise!

That's what I do. I can't give up my favorite foods, I just portion everything.

I didn't eat back my exercise calories when I first started but after reading the forums and learning how MFP is set up, I started eating them. I feel better, and still lose the weight when I do.

You look fantastic! Congrats on all of your hard work!

I've lost a total of 106 pounds so far. I started off with water aerobics, walking, and recumbent bike. Did Zumba Gold for a little while, and started lifting on the weight machines. Finally moved on to Zumba (love it), and working with a trainer, and free weights. Start where you can, you'll work your way up!

I'll tell someone my total if they ask, I've actually lost 106 pounds, but my ticker reflects what I've lost since I joined MFP.

We don't have them at my YMCA, but I'd love to give them a try!

I get a really good burn on the Arc trainer, but its lower than it says.

Like so many others have said, you do NOT need to starve yourself or go hungry to do this. Get some exercise, count your calories, and you'll be fine. If you know you want a snack at midnight (like I do), save some calories for that snack. It's not a bad thing. If you want to take a look at my diary, its open. With…

So proud to have you as a friend! You work your *kitten* off, literally and figuratively! Beautiful!!!

My Mom used to tell me 1,000 calories a day too, which is why I've never succeeded in the past. With my exercise, I usually eat around 2,000 a day and I'm losing just fine.

Definitely try to get to a class. My instructor is awesome, she is constantly changing things up and she does a lot of fitness moves.
-
You can see by my diary that I don't restrict anything at all. It's worked for me so far.
-
I pre-log mine as much as I can. Most of tomorrow is pre-logged already. It helps me see where I might fall short on my macros. Sometimes I make small changes, but usually I stick to it.

I like wheat.

I have the same scale and like someone mentioned previously, it holds a memory..unless you have a significant enough weight difference its going to show the same thing as last time. What I usually do is hold something that is a pound or two at least in my hand when I get on it the first time, and then weigh again without…

Yes, I usually eat most of my exercise calories, if not all.
