His food addiction comment is interesting to me; I watched the documentary "Supersize Me" and remember that guy saying the same thing. For some reason it seems to have more authority coming from someone who was once fit than it does from someone like me who has had a lifelong struggle. That's illogical, I know, but that…

I haven't changed that I know of. Still like brainy beefcakes! Lol

Flirt away, Romeo! Except I am very shy, so I'd be oblivious that a guy was actually hitting on me, but hey, if at some point I ever figured it out, I'd be like, oh, so THAT's how it's done!

I used a form of weight loss "hypnosis". I know. Crazy stuff. but it worked for me, so who cares?! (slowdeepbreath.com)

I was a tomboy who grew up in the country, so I've got lots. But my best scar is on the outside of my right thigh. I was 24, and my baby sister was 12, and they'd just paved the road behind my apartment. She and I carried our roller blades to the top of the hill, put them on, and away we went! It was so FAST! And it was…

My parents used to give this to me when I was little, and I swear by it! (but not even close to this amount, LOL)

I love this idea! Yesterday was my birthday, so even though I've already been running, I think I'd like to start over with today's miles anyway, and see how far I get by next year's birthday. Awesome idea! =)

They are amusing until they don't know when to stop. Then, they're extremely annoying. Example: in a hospital room, goofing off, entertaining everyone. Great. Doctor walks in, and they keep at it, not letting the patient get the information the doctor has to share? Annoying.

My first race I ran with my cousin, and we also had a hill at the end; I was bound and determined I was going to run it, so when we got to the top and had that last little bit before the finish line, we turned and looked at each other and sprinted! The local newspaper caught us as we crossed the finish line (tied), and…

@ Daisy- Me neither! And I love that the little girl has bubbles in her pic, 'cause really, what better reason to run than to chase bubbles?! As long as I'm running, I don't care which one of those girls I look like. =)

I miss five people, Pete, Cowboy, Diesel, IndyRick, and though she's not gone, we don't talk like we used to, and that's my friend Angela. :-(

It seems like everything under the sun!!! I blog, I join contests on here, I whine to friends, I look at old pictures, new pictures, I try on old clothes that are too big, too small, that I wore such and such time. I make up challenges for myself- drink x amount of water, eat x amount of vegetables, eat x amount of…

Lol... I had to research the reference, and now I'm scared! To poster above me.... "Master Chief John Urgayle: Pain is your friend, your ally, it will tell you when you are seriously injured, it will keep you awake and angry, and remind you to finish the job and get the hell home. But you know the best thing about pain?…

I understand. I truly do. And honestly, I don't think you're MEAN for not reminding another adult what she should be doing. Having said that, I'd still want my sister(s) along. It's so much more fun when you've got someone else beside you. It won't take away from YOUR accomplishment one little bit, I PROMISE! My baby…

I noticed a definite toning when I first started running as well, but once I added in resistance training as well, is when I really started noticing more musculature.

She's smart, fun, AND gorgeous! The first is true, the second I'm hoping for, and the third I'm working towards! :flowerforyou:

Oh my heavens, HER!!!!!!

I live by myself, so I don't have to do housework every day; since I don't count it in my daily activity, and only do major cleaning once a week (which includes mopping), I DO count it, but if I clean for two hours, I only record one hour, because I figure putting dishes in the dishwasher isn't much of a burn! lol But that…

Okay, I'm going to go get mine right now....

I got it and I loved it! :-)

Humility is the key separator. There's nothing wrong with a man who is confident, but a man who knows his strengths and don't take them as his natural due for simply being male... That's rare and to be treasured. That's the man others willingly follow. There are numerous other factors that I find attractive, but that's the…

I usually get more compliments when my hair is straight, but I wonder if that's just because it is different, since I usually wear it curly.
