This thread is hilarious! I cant believe just how many people take farting so seriously and they are disgusted by it. Me, well I love toilet humour and have been involved in a few competitions. When I was younger I farted in a big glass jar, sealed it and then asked my mum if it was clean. I still remember her face when…

Thats great!! I only tried boots once and I hated it as the stretch ones looked terrible on me :(. I cannot wait until I can walk into any shop and buy what I want.

^ Couldnt have said it better. IMo, body trim and other similar products may work in the short run but the minute you stop that 'diet' you have a very high chance of falling back into your old habits easily. As others have said, the best way to lose weight or improves your health is to eat fresh healthy food and exercise…

On the most part - I am pretty good with cravings as I dont like sweets - chocolate being the exeption but after a little bit I am not phased. I crave this really wierd savoury scone loaf type thing that I randomly made a recipe for wondering if it will work ... it did and it is scrumtious!!! - its curry and spicy with…

^^ This. My wish list is also full of fitness related things too! How times change haha. I am totally addicted to MFP ... I dont use it to track my food or log exercise that much as I have a huge spreadsheet set up for that. However I am constantly reading through all of the threads which is never ending. This is how I…

I love all Christmas movies but my hands down favourite has to be The Santa Clause. It is made quite a few yrs ago with the dude from Numbers as Patch the Elf). So good ... it isnt christmas without watching that atleast 5 times lol. Secret Time: I actually have a Christmas playlist on my ipod and that is all I listen to…

Everyone has to build up as it isnt easy running for 20 mins so good on you for giving it a go! I have to say that I think I might actually run slower than I walk lol. I have just started out and connot jog very far so for now I am just walking and slowly build up speed and duration and give jogging another go when I reach…

^^ Me too. I use to hate it when I was younger (Friday the 13th and Scream movies made it heaps worse) and then a few years ago I temporarially lost my sight for 6 months - I was a complete wreck!! The only secret that absolutely noone knows about is the playlist that is on my ipod - well over 100 songs from the 70's, 80's…

I know exactlyy what you mean, I usually walk 7km and it turned out to be 6.2km according to google maps (omg we are exactly the same!! RANDOM). Out of curiosity, what site do you use to map your walks?? Be happy that you did actually get out there ... 6.38 is better than 0!!!

L1D2 down. I am actually not as sore this time around. I have tried the 30DS so many times so I am very familiar with L1 only. But the anterior raises still get me every single time - they are my arch-nemesis.

^^ This. Hit the nail on the head!!

ANTERIOR LUNGES!! I love Jillian but I hate htese with a passion. I dont know what it is. My arms hurt and those side to side lunges are hard for me to do for some reason. I dont understand why - I think that I am just a little gumby at them. I also have a love/hate relationship with my crosstrainer. I love to do it but…

I am in! I just started D1L1 this morning! I have also tried 30DS but it had been hit and miss and I fizzle out. I am determined to do the whole 30 days this time. Lets keep each other on track!! Feel free to add me!

DO IT!! I have recently had a dream like that too. it was so short and it was me just running. I have never done that in my life! All I remember was the feeling of it being effortless and I felt a 'high' that I have never felt before. That morning I went for a long walk (and little run when there where no cars lol). I…

I dont consider it a diet! I am making dietary changes but to me it is a change in my lifestyle. Many people go on 'diets' - however most are completely unsustainable and restrictive. Yes you may lose 10 pounds or whatever, but once you stop you put it all back on. I guess that is why, for me, it is all about lifestyle…

Honestly, although it can be a pain to see the doctor, you really should. If there is an underlying problem, you could really do some damage - and if you damage your knee of all things, it is something that can be a reoccuring problem for the rest of your life. It is better to be safe then sorry. With exercising, if it…

I had lower back pain at the beginning of the year (mine was for being too obese), I found that gentle yoga helped a lot - it not only helped my to stretch but also it helped build strength in my core. Although I still have a long way to go, yoga made me aware of using my core to bend etc, instead of my back if that makes…

I know ... I hate when that happens ;P Good work, keep it up!!

I was suppose to do the September one but I fell completely of my exercise regime for the past 3 or so weeks. i really nedd a goosd *kitten* kicking and help to stay motivated. Burned just over 500 today and I feel good enough to smash myself again this afternoon. Doing the math ... I am uber confident I can hit 5000 cal…

I am literally just about to start my first day of 6w6p/L1, but I am doing 30DS/L1 instead of ripped. I am so in!! Should be interesting. I am also tossing up whether or not to do either cardio (elliptical) or yoga (stretching yoga) in the evening. Would that be a little too much?? its just I do have a decent amount of…

There could be many reasons why he is acting the way he is towards your success. He could be insecure as suggested before and worried you'll lose the weight, get in shape and decide he isn't good enough for you. Another reason could be that he may feel things are changing, some people are uncomfortable with change, he may…

I am in! I have recently fallen off the wagon ... again. Last christmas, my entire family were around having a good time ... I sat in a different room just crying. I felt so ashamed that I had to hide from everyone in my family. Even when they went outside to play cricket and soccer, I sat and watched ... I would love to…

Count me in!! These apast few weeks I have really been slack on the exercise front. I am going to have to go above and beyond to make sure I do actually burn that much as I am using MFP estimates. I plan to do 30DS, yoga meltdown, zumba and the cross trainer. I will start this challenge tomorrow!!!
-
OK L1D5 and L1D6 DONE!!! I manage to pump out 220 calories on the elliptical. OMG I will never break again. That was definitely one kick up the butt!! I felt a bit sluggish on the second go due to my arches stinging for some weird reason. Hopefully I can go hard tomorrow!!

OMG OMG OMG Wowza. That is an amazing transformation. it looks as though you never had a weight problem in the first place!!! I truly love this section of MFP, it is so inspiring to see people's results. It makes me even more determined to hit my goals and help inspire others!
