Holy Snapping Duck S#!T
At the age of 23, I am morbidly obese at 269.5 (5'9"), for years I was that fat girl who ate 700 cal/day and then binged   For the past 2 weeks, I have been struggling with the concept of eating net 1200 ... then eating above my BMR at 2038cal  Then, as a bid to educate myself, I stumbled across this group…

Natural vs Processed Sugar
I am doing up a mock diary in order to plan my meals for the entire week ahead, and I keep going over my sugar limit. My daily goal is automaticall set at 31, but if I eat an apple most of that is used up (even though it is natural sugar vs processed nasty sugar). Is this number a little to low? If so what would be a rough…

Bumping up calorie intake
I have never really counted calories before ... I just focused on cutting out most of the junk food. But yesterday (Thurs 22) I finally had a go at filling out my food diary on MFP to see where I am at on an average day. I consume roughly 1200 calories (and feeling satisfied) and that wasnt even an exercise day. I have no…

Strengthening weak knees - HELP???
I have just started doing zumba (yeasterday and today, among the cross trainer and a quick gym circuit), I noticed that when I was dancing both of my knees felt very weak and I even had to 'catch' myself a few times. They do not hurt in any way so I think it is due to the fact that I have been obese most of my life and as…

Running vs Walking Calories
I have done a bit of research on walking and how to increase your fitness level and endurance to begin jogging. running and I have strolled across a few medical websites that suggest you burn the same amount of calories no matter whether you run or walk briskly - its just when you run you get there faster. I am not a…

How does everyone warm up?
I am just wondering what everyone does to warm up? What and how long etc. I only ask because I completed 30DS/L1 this morning and then moved onto 6w6p/L1, I was only able to make it the first 10 or so minutes before by calves tensed up and I could hardly do the floor work because they were so painful. Two hours later and I…

Intensity Question - AM/PM or smash it outin a row???
I have a question for everyone who has done 30DS/ Insanity / ripped in 30 etc, what is your workout schedule like?? Do you combine it with other cardio/strength workouts back to back to smash it all out, how is you intensity?
