  • I started out using a small squeeze of MIO type liquids in it. In a 24oz cup I'd put a lot of ice, little squeeze of mio (crystal like, koolaid any brand that had tthe right flavor) and then add the seltzer/sparkling water. Out of a 24 serving bottle of MIO I would get 50+ 24oz cups. I love Polar brand pomegranate, their…
  • I like the liquids in small bottles better than the packets. I find I can use 1 serving (meant for 8oz) in a 20-24oz cup of water of teh liquid. I do like the True Lemon brand packets, made with crystallized fruit juice and stevia.
  • I usually just avoid the carby side they have. I also make things I like/want and have leftovers as my dinner. I don't like a lot of low carb things they do (bone in chicken, roast, pork chops) or it would be easy that way too. Things we all eat: tacos or burgers, mine in a low carb (Tumaro's brand) wrap spinach chicken…
  • I use stevia and unsweetened almond milk, heavy cream or half & half. I'm doing low carb, the heavy cream wouldn't be great if you use a lot but I find 1/2T to be enough. I like green mountain flavored coffees. I LOVE Target's archer farms vanilla creme brulee flavor as well.
  • Thanks for posting! I haven't tried the quest bars because of price but this looks good.
  • I like almond milk in smoothies. Its 30cals a cup for the unsweetened silk brand. the only problem will be it lacks in protein. So Coconut brand has an almond milk that has more protein and while I liked it for smoothies but it would curdle in my coffee :(
  • I actually really like the choc chip cookie dough one :) 2nd fave is the creamy PB one. I did not care for the granola ones. The "payday" one is really good.
  • IMO fat free cheese is like eating plastic. Sargento and some stores carry their own brand of 2% slices already packaged usually near the prepkg bologna/lunchmeats.
  • Try roasting veggies. I love roasted broccoli, cauliflower or asparagus. I didn't like or eat any of those till I was nearly 40 and roasted them. I like spinach cooked in things but not on its own. So in spinach artichoke dip, chicken rollatini etc I like it. The smoothie idea is good, you can add spinach etc to them as…
  • I finally found this the other day. Go under "my home", then "goals" (top of screen) Then "change goals" which is green under the calories etc. Change it to custom
  • I never ate many till last year, mostly salad before that. spinach in smoothies, in place of some lettuce in a salad or in a wrap roasted broccoli or asparagus- I won't eat it them any other way roasted or mashed cauliflower don;t be afraid to season them, salt, garlic, onion etc check out skinnytaste.com we love the…
  • Can you post the recipe? When I click on the link it just takes me to my recipes.
  • I would either sub half with applesauce (unsweetened) or more pumpkin puree.
  • I prefer silk unsweetened vanilla, now 30calories a cup (not sure why the change from 35) I use it in coffee, cereal or smoothies. In smoothies I add stevia in the raw because I only use the almond milk, fruit and plain greek yogurt, the plain greek needs a bit of something IMO.
  • We also love the skinnytaste zucchini pancakes http://www.skinnytaste.com/2008/06/zucchini-pancakes-225-pts.html

  • I use unsweetened vanilla almond milk, silk brand usually. Its creamier then just milk and way less calories.
  • I also use it mainly in salads and wraps. If you use it in a smoothie just add some darker berries like black or blue to keep it from looking like a swamp :) I was skeptical but you really can not taste it in a smoothie. I also make the spinach rollatini or lasagna wraps from skinnytaste
  • What happens if you "share" or add to the database? (I forget what the option is). If not just have them add it as calories only since you know that info.
  • Take measurements, as other have said. I also have been struggling with this and have changed from "lose 2lbs a week" to "lose 1.5lbs a week", this week I lost . It seems wrong to eat more but for some people its what works.
  • skinnytaste.com pot pie soup for us.
  • I do unsweetened 1C almond milk, 1/2C plain 0% greek yogurt, 1-2C fresh spinach, 1C strawberries, 1/2 a C blueberries, 1/2-1 banana.
  • I make steel cut oats w/TVP and wheat berries. 1 C steel cut oats 1/4C TVP 2tsp vanilla extract 2tsp cinnamon 1/2C wheatberries 4C water (may need more) I put all that in a pot, bring to a boil. reduce to simmer and simmer 45 mins, stirring occasioanlly. I then divide it into 8 small containers, put in fridge or freezer.…
