Bump this.... Anyone?

Inside is harder!!! I'd rather run outside any day. That said, I can run faster on a treadmill since I can set it at the speed I want to go and just keep up, it just feels like torture.

Agreed, some of the best/hardest instructors I have ever have haven't looked the part, and some of the worst had seemingly 'perfect" appearances. This attitude makes me sad, one of the best yoga teachers I've ever had had her class cancelled because she didn't look the part, so none of the gym snobs would give her class a…

Feel free to add me. I've got 2 boys and a girl- ages 2 to 8.

I have a great time playing "Just Dance" with my kids :) We have Just Dance 1 and Just Dance 3.

I never stretch. I usually start out slow until I warm up, but that is it. I have never had a problem.

Really? That's tempting. I usually use the Nike+ app, and have only used Endomondo (I only have the free version) to log my biking. I have a silly sense of loyalty to Nike because I have been logging there for so long, but maybe it is time to make a change.

I have both. I almost never use my HRM. I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE my fitbit. It gives me a better overall picture of my day. I can go running, but if I spend the rest of the day sitting around, what's the point? With FitBit, I can see the real picture. It isn't perfect but I feel like the calorie adjustment it gives me is…

I'm 35, a Mom of 3(8, 4.5 and 2.5), 10-15 pounds from goal and a sporadic Jillian Michaels user. More of a runner/cyclist though, I can never make it thru 30 days of a dvd.... I like to toss in p90X workouts sometimes, too but same goes, I have trouble following the whole program....... I try occasionally though.
-
That is because that picture was taken in the mirror, silly. And by the way - you look great :)

I'm a runner and a new fitbit user... I've run 4 marathons, but the last was just before i got pregnant with my oldest (who is about to turn 8 - eek) - and I now have 3 kids, so I have found a half marathon to be a more manageable training schedule :) I started P90X once but baby 3 was a newborn and I didn't make it. I do…

I'm late already!! I had 10 miles in before this week began! It's looking like a good week coming up too! (at least it has started out well :) ) Feel no pressure to update the spreadsheet - I won't be offended if you wait until next week to update me!!!!!
-
OK - I want to come back and will do better this month!! I'm training for a Duathlon and doing a fair bit of cycling too so I will stick to 50 miles.... and maybe I'll blow myself away...................

I know, it frustrates me too, and maybe you have a nicer HRM than me... I am just trying to hit 1500 calories, give or take a day, and not add in my exercise calories. But I don't do 2 spin classes a day - I usually run 15-20 miles a week, commute 22 miles on my bike once or twice a week and lift for an hour twice a week…

I'm with the people that say you may want to trust your heart rate monitor less. Mine WAY overestimates the amount of calories I burn.....

Okay - Finishing this week with 21 miles.... still have a lot of catching up to do and I keep skipping runs and biking to work instead! When my official time finally posted it was 24:17, not 24:05 like I thought (I swear I watched it click over from 23 to 24 minutes as I was coming through but I must have been delirious!)…

haha - Sounds good Cooriander! Thats about right - I ran 4.5 of them this morning so it should be week 2! BTW- I was looking at your post about the 5K Saturday. I have been WAITING for the official times from mine to post (there were 4,000 participants so a placement is a long shot but still I'd like to see where I fall in…

OK - trying to get a ticker. Does this work?

Finished out November with 79.75 with a goal of 80 miles!! OOPS!!!!! But I am back on MFP and ready to go (with an extra 4 pounds to burn off courtesy of thanksgiving!!) My new goal is 100 MILES IN DECEMBER!! (and I am already behind!!!) (I'm currently at 9.5 miles) But I did get a new recent PR of 24:05 at my 5K Saturday!…
-
Total so far is 50 miles ! 30 to go to hit my 80 mile goal! That's 3.1 a day, I can do that (I hope)
-
Can I join in this late in the game?? I hit 100 a couple months this spring but haven't been quite there lately... It's fully halfway thru the month and I am at 30 miles - I'll step it up and try to hit 80 for the month - get that 50 in for the second half...

I worked at a gym that served beer in the cafe. And sold lots of it. Seemed a little off to me too, but at least that didn't stink.
-
keep it up as long as it's fun. If you feel like you are burning yourself out - start taking rest days. I have a rule that if I didn't exercise yesterday, I have to do it today. I break it occasionally but as a rule of thumb it works for me. Some weeks are heavier than others but you just have to make sure you keep moving…
-
unless it's cold - run in the rain. If its too cold, off to the gym for a spin class, or a treadmill.

I love Asics 2060. I've been running in that series for about 12 years, including marathon training. Great shoes.

I don't know, but I am curious about it...

I'm a daily weigher. I like to know the general trend.

My husband is the same. I try to go healthy, but filling and not light (or he wastes away to nothing.)

Hope you prove me wrong, but my attempts to get back into it in the early weeks only led to unpleasant side affects and heavy bleeding. Be cautious.
