Hadn't heard one way or the other. Just wanted to know. Glad to see these responses... I can smell the sesame steak now. I'm thinking a 1/2 Tbsp is plenty to really boost the flavor of pretty much any good sized cut of meat

it's a kilt, not a skirt! Sorry, couldn't resist....

Not recently, but I can tell you that I have in the past noticed when my wife or I ever talk about trying to lose weight, tone up, eat right and they're not currently "on the same page," that people seem to love controversy and will either intentionally or un-intentionally sabotage your efforts. It can be anything from…

Two words... "Hubba, hubba" You look great, this is truly inspiring to anyone that has a good amount to lose.

It's powdered peanut butter. 3 ingredients... peanuts, sugar and salt... all natural They have removed the oil from it to reduce 2 tbs to 45 calories very little fat, sodium and sugar compared to regular peanut butter and you can rehydrate it with water to make a spreadable peanut butter... Pretty awesome stuff.

Didn't Atkins die because he slipped and hit his head from a patch of Ice? PS - I'm not an Atkins dieter, I have read the book and have been on the diet. The diet isn't 20 net carbs a day for life (which seems to be the most common misconception.) After the Induction phase, carbs are gradually re-introduced into your diet…

Congratulations and just curious, is your screen name true? Reason I'm asking is because I'm a maille maker. Although I've been somewhat inactive lately.
-
Great attitude, 25% of your goal is huge!

.... AND as I stated earlier, I'm NOT going under 1200 calories... my lowest is 1600ish per day which is approximately a 1000 calorie deficit recommended for 2 lb a week loss.
-
Well I did the math if I'm doing that 1 day a week and eating at 1000 surplus of maint and 1000 cals under for 6 days then it's still at 5000 calorie weekly deficit so math dictates I should lose the weight still.
-
Love the exercise "spike day" Idea, never thought of that. Now, as for what you're saying, I should eat 3600 calories on my spike day? Which is 2000 above my weight loss calories. I'm not sure I can eat that many calories... not to mention it scares the heck out of me. I would pick one day and eat above maintenance by 1000…
-
Yes, this is part of my plan, I was wondering if MFP has a way to actually customize your plan based on varying caloric levels per day.
-
Where did I say I was eating less then 1200 calories? I said a 1000 calorie deficit, my maint Cals are 2600ish so 1000 calorie deficit is 1600 which is what MFP is recommending and a spike day means adding calories not subtracting.
-
Mine is also public and I don't typically get any critique unless I ask for it.
-
LOL you know you're not helping the situation here? (However, I am laughing uncontrollably at this point)
-
You've got the right idea as far as how this all works. However I might suggest you leave the let 1337 SpE@k2 at Yahoo chat. It's not against the rules but people will quickly stop taking you seriously around here.

I chop them up and put them in omelets, or on a homemade pizza.
-
Surplus of your BMR Calories or a Surplus of your normal weight loss calories? My BMR is 2200ish my normal goal is 1600ish

Hard over means you fry the yolk hard, as for in the microwave yeah just scramble it and nuke it. My wife has eggs for breakfast every morning usually a veggie omelet, 1 egg, 1 serving of egg beaters (generic brand) some green peppers and tomato with a couple thin slices of ham and some mrs. dash spicy seasoning. She nukes…

Good heavens , don't starve yourself tonight, try and eat lost of veggies for dinner like Broccoli, Green Beans, Spinach and drink a ton of water to help keep you full as well. The veggies will give you lots of fiber, and have minimal impact on your colories, the water will also keep you nice and full. Whatever you do…
-
Hmm... What kind of fiber goal should I be looking at? I thought I was doing pretty good with my 20ish plus but seems that many are recommending more. As for the Calcium, you're right I haven't really been looking at that. I guess I need to eat more broccoli and green beans and put spinach back in my diet. Thanks for…
-
Are you sure you read the right line? I'm seeing 0 Carbs on my Ground beef.... The line above it is pasta which is where the carbs are kind of high.
-
Yes I'm aware of my vegetable issues. Lettuce and Tomato unfortunately aren't an option as I don't like either. (Weird huh? since I eat tomato sauce and such) Thanks for reminding me, I need to add more green beans, peas and carrots since i do like them maybe some spinach in my omelets? I'm trying to do 2 servings of fruit…

I'm in the PB2 camp, I was pretty skeptical at first but the stuff is really good. It's made with real peanuts, no chemicals and 45 Calories for 2 Tbsp. Bell Plantation makes it and if you google PB2 it's all over the place. The Big difference is they've pressed the oil out of it and you hydrate it with water. My wife and…

IMHO, I'd never give up eating if I'm hungry. My wife and I, force ourselves to eat out once a week. However we just don't go someplace and order anything on the menu either. We do a little research ahead of time and actually know what we're going to order before we ever get there. Not only does this allow us to continue…

I usually have a strong stomach but her daily menu actually had me gagging.
-
I'm sorry you are right, due to my size I'm eating 1600+ Calories a day with 142g of carbs which is restrictive for that overall caloric intake... This is why i did give a range of 100-150... it should have been a bit wider and I also forgot to mention the effects of carbs on different people. The main purpose of my post…
-
20g of carbs a day while possible is very very hard for many people to maintain. Not even Atkins diet recommends this past the Induction period of 2 weeks (sometimes 3). Once you're past the induction phase of Atkins you're supposed to gradually introduce more carbs each weak until the weight loss stops then back off so…

If you're looking for a decent Fast food fix... don't know if you have Arby's near you but the Jr. Roast Beef is only 210 Calories, I will occasionally get two and throw away one bun which is a total of 280 Calories if my memory servers me right. There is info on MFP for the Jr with the bun, with half a bun and without the…

Funny you should say that, if you look at today I made the choice to kill creamer from coffee.(after my first two cups lol) As for the perogies they were left from my before "buying right" days and I felt like a treat. Great point outs though... much appreciated and I'll be looking into your diary closely for some Idea's…
