FALSE cited: http://ifasters.com/intermittent-fasting-and-your-metabolism/ And there are dozens of other studies out there refuting your blanket statement

I would have agreed that your protein was a bit low before but it sounds like that simple change of one scoop for one banana will have in a pretty well balance macro setup. Unfortunately, many people think their way that worked for them is the only way to go. I personally don't care for the higher amounts of carbs and opt…

I use the raw weight and make sure I'm using the raw stats, if I add oils or other ingredients I add those as a separate entry. The way I see it... If I sautee a steak in a skillet that starts as 10oz raw and I cook it medium rare down to say 8oz or cook it to 6oz and well done... There shouldn't be a caloric differnce.…

Sounds like we're coming from the same place. As I mentioned in my last paragraph there are other benefits, I just chose not to list them out.

Many people, (Myself included) find a lot of success in weight loss eating in this fashion. It's not magically better due to the lower carbs. It is however pretty easy to maintain this style of eating because restricting carbs has this way of eventually lowering your craving for carbs and protein and fats tend to have…

Steak and Chicken kebobs with veggies works well...

It doesn't if you eat enough fruits and veggies... You certainly don't require un-refined grains and High Glycemic carbs to have enough energy for a workout.
-
Not a good idea really.... Many "gluten-free" products are made with refined, unenriched grains and starches, which contain plenty of calories but very few vitamins or minerals. Basically, it's Gluten-Free Junk food.

My daily salad is: 3 oz of Spinach (this is a lot) 6 oz of Sauteed, seasoned, chicken (Raw weight) 1/4 TBSP of Coconut oil (to cook chicken) 2 strips of bacon 2 Hard boiled Eggs 1.5 oz of Shredded Cheese No dressing (no need for it) Marcros P: 59, F:42, C: 4, Fiber 2 - 600 Calories This with a really big glass of water…

Peas are Legumes, and Corn and Quinoa are Grain (and corn, usually most people can't digest it), Please don't buy gluten free frozen waffles.... Look at the label this is just a mess of chemicals and additives. OP: Eat lots of leafy veggies and try to find fruits that you can eat for your carbs... Berries seem to be a good…

This is 100% true, however twinkies are quite low if not entirely devoid of the nutrients our body requires. It's not impossible but quite likely you will find it very hard to consistently stay in a caloric deficit eating only twinkies to satiate your hunger. When you eat "Clean" (notice the quotes) you're eating more…

Make an omelet the night before, two eggs, choice of meats, cheese and veggies... Reheat in the microwave in the morning.. How much easier does it get?
-
There really isn't any magical food combination that will make you lose weight faster. However, I find that eating "clean" makes it easier for me to maintain my caloric and macro levels where I want them. Therefore I do lose weight faster due to continuity, not some magical food combination.

Big spinach salad, with bacon, hard boiled eggs, cheese and chicken, no dressing. Note: I consider that breakfast even though I eat at about noon since I'm breaking the fast.

I agree with this 100% You can lose weight with any combination of macros as long as the calories in are less then the calories out. What I don't agree with is individuals stating you HAVE TO do it this way or the other. The number one problem most people have with weight loss and keeping it off is usually adherence. If…

If you burn more calories in the week then you ate you will continue to lose weight. If you want to enjoy a treat, have at it.
-
I agree with you. I'm just trying to state that the body doesn't just burn carbohydrates as fuel and enjoys burning fat as fuel just as easily.

Low Carb is a relative term, to some it means less then 20 Net grams daily to others it's 50-100 a day. Lowering carbs for some people is simply a way to lower their overall caloric intake. I eat in the 30-75 overall Carb range daily. I chose not eat grains of any kind. I get the bulk of my carbs from veggies and…

If you can stick to your caloric restriction, quality of food isn't going to be a major factor in weight loss. However, many people find that higher quality foods tend to help satiate hunger better. Eating 100 calories worth of broccoli (About 1.5 Cups) is going to be much more filling then 100 calories of pixie sticks. It…
