For strength, I have lower body days, where I do leg presses, extensions, curls, squats, calves, adductor and abductor machines at the gym Upper body days, I mostly use dumbbells, 15-20lbs and do bicep curls, hammer curls, chest press, triceps and a bunch that I don't know the technical name for yet lol.

Thank you! And Im hoping I do as well. When I started off, I started on the elliptical. I prefer that over the treadmill because I have an old knee injury that acts up and the elliptical doesn't hurt my joints. But I'd do the elliptical for 30 mins and the bike for 30. Thank you! As long as you find a workout routine that works for you and you stick with it, coupled with generally eating healthy, then you should be able to accomplish your goals. I love to dance so Zumba was right up my alley. I think that it was one of the things that really contributed to my weight loss

I have to do over 30mins of cardio. I feel like Im not doing anything if I dont at least do 45-60 minutes. Today is a normal day for me, minus the chick fil a. To be honest, I saw someone else eating 1200 and losing weight fast, so me, being desperate to lose quickly tried to do the same.

So should I still to the recommended 1550 that MFP gave me or continue with the 1200? What about when I workout? If that's the case, when I workout, I should be eating 1800-2000 calories that day. Is that accurate?

I do 1200, well under 1300 a day as well and Im confused. I work out 5 days a week and burn 600+cals in cardio alone. I also lift after my cardio. I still stick to 1200 calories and dont eat back my exercise calories. You mean to tell me that I should be doing that? MFP gives me 1580 to eat a day. By my BMI, Im considered…
