I'm not sure if this will help, but after some reading up, here's what I found out. The kidneys deal with electrolyte balance. If there's a high intak of sodium, your body naturally creates thirst to help flush out the excess and create electrolyte balance. If however, the body becomes dehydrated, the body retains water.…

I've been finding the same thing. I don't work out, but I've been bigger and I've been smaller and my bum and things are always slower to loose the weight. So I'm just accepting it and know they'll catch up. Yours will catch up soon! I've heard running is great for tonning legs, thighs and tummy. If you work out at the…

Well, I'm up 2 pounds this week and I'm not surprised! My frozen yoghurt intake has kept my sugar and fat in the red. Not only that, but eating all my excersize calories has left me feeling heavy and making other parts go in the red too. Not to mention having take out at the beginning of the week seeing my sodium go in the…

I had a sneaky pre-weigh (becoming a habit I need to stop LOL) and no weight loss. I'm putting this down to having take out 2 nights in a row and 1 day of over eating at the beginning of the week. I'm pleased that I haven't put anything on!! And fingers crossed I lose 1 pound by Sunday (official weigh day). Well done on…

Well I weighed today. I didn't get to keep all of that 6lb, but I have lost 3lbs officially this week, so I am still exited. I treated myself to 4 new dresses!! 3 don't fit :o( But I know they soon will and will try them on next month and see how I'm doing. This weekend has been amazing, ive been very active with walking…

Hi all, well I weighed myself today and I've lost a whopping 6 pounds! But my official weigh day is Sunday, so this may change. Also, I had take out yesterday, have girls night out tonight and a birthday drinks Saturday. Urgh! So I'm hoping I can still hang on to that official big loss on Sunday! @Myschell welcome to the…

Well, I decide to post before and now pics. Here's the thread http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/182678-before-now-pics-83lbs-left-to-go-o?page=1#posts-2424664 Ignore the fact that I wrote MFO throughout, instead of MFP!! Welcome and well done on your success so far! Come back to this thread often and keep us up to…

Thank you everyone for your comments!! :o) Sorry, it's supposed to be MFP not MFO, but between my dyslexia and my 4 year old I've written MFO! But everything else is right.

Wow! You look like a different person!!! Excess skin is something that I've been slightlyworried about, but your pics prove to me that toning should sort that baby out. Thanks for sharing :o)
-
Fantastic! You've done so well and really motivating. Thanks :o)

We have a similar start and goal weight, so your story especially, makes me happy and hopeful!! Great work and see you at the finish line :o)

Wow! You can really tell the difference. Well done :o)

Well done on overcoming so much and I'm sorry for your loss! I can't imagine what your whole situation is like. Hopefully, you can swap your ex for a paying lodger until you can both sell the house. Keep up the great work and good luck :o)

It's like you read my mind! I feel the same way. This is the best I've ever done just through healthy eating and I couldn't have done it without the support. I know, because I tried :o) And don't apologise for writing "essays". LOL I love reading what everyone has to say and we're on this thread, so we can express…

Hi everyone, I haven't posted on here all week!! It's been a crazy week work wise. Well done everyone on your weightloss, you're all doing so well! And welcome to Monicqua, happy to have you join us and thank you for sharing your introduction with us :o) I've lost 2.5 inches, mostly from my legs. I think they've finally…

I'm on 1200, rummage away through my diary. Rare days I go over, or sometimes excersise, but otherwise I mostly have 1200 without excersise. Cous Cous and Wraps have been the biggest help in keeping meal sizes big. I tend to save most of my calories to the evening, as that's when I'm likely to eat the most. Oh and look at…

Whether Uncle TOM or Aunt FLO are both a pain when they come to visit. **grin**

No matter what diet or healthy eating I've done, I've always either stayed the same, or go up! If you've joined in the Starting Janurary 2011 thread, you'll see I've had a big moan about it this month! Lol The worst thing is the hunger before hand and sticking to healthy eating. As soon as its my TOM, I accept my weight…

Thank you! :o)

Don't be too hard on yourself! You've had a little holiday and your back now. You'll do great! Sometimes I take a day off, I still log everything, but I'll eat the house down! And then think about how everyone can see my diary. Lol You're 13lbs lighter than when you started, that alone is a great acheiment, that and…

Welcome! We can all do it! You're making the first steps in the right direction. Have you tried Ben&Jerry's frozen Yoghurt? It tastes like ice cream, but really low in calories. For a 100g (1 cup) of Cherry Garcia, it's 150 calories! I buy it and eat it with a tea spoon. So even if you ate the whole tub, you wouldn't be…

I'm 5ft 4in (163cm I think). I re-started MFP in Jan 2011. The rest of my stats are in my signature below. In 2006, before I knew about MFP, I was 292lbs and managed to get a lot of that off myself, but still have a long way to go! Feel free to add me :o)
-
Congratulations on your weightloss! You're doing so well :o) And great to someone else from England on MFP! Go you! Keep it up 8:o)

Voting done and posted to my friends :o)

Having friends really helps! I've got support, I give support. I feel like I'm part of a team and want to keep myself and the team going. I even started a thread for people starting and re-starting in Jan, so we could go through the weightloss together and it's been a great journey so far, the ups and the downs. And I've…
