  • This post is way old! So you're probably not looking for advice anymore, but try Exante. As well as shakes, I found they have a large range of foods, they're also lower cost compared to some of the more well known companies that do shakes. I'm happy to recommmend others if you don't like the sound of Exante, or just search…
  • I hope you're still going strong. My start weight was 317lbs, my goal weight is 119lbs. We've got this! :)
  • It's a really hard diet to do, if you're eating regular food. The taste is just too different. I enjoy the Exante food, but only after at least a week of just shakes whilst my pallet adjusts to no sugar, no salt, no coffee etc. Normal food is full of lovely fun stuff, so it'll always taste better :)
  • Total solution 700 calories - 800 calories ( based on 45 min kickboxing session) = -100 calories! VLCD's and intense exercise are not compatible.
  • Yes and it does work. However, I've only done it eating only Exante products (45lbs lost so far). I did LL after the birth of my first son and lost 8 stones in 8 months. However, when I went back and forth between the diet food and normal food when I tried Cambridge, I only lasted a month. If you've only got a small amount…
  • Hi Ella, I'm doing Exante and have lost 45.5lbs, I started 1st January 2015. I've done similar diets (LighterLife, Cambridge etc). However, Exante has by far the most verity to help keep you focused. I've also made up a recording folder, it has measurements, weight, progress photos etc and really helps make this process…
  • Amazing! Thank you for sharing! :o) I'm on a similar journey to yours and in week 4 of Couch to 5k and entered in to a 10k race in December. It's inspiration to know you've been there first and it works. 8:o)
  • Thank you all for your overwhelming support! I'm finally in the 13 stones area and haven't been there a while! My running and Pilates are going well and I'm enjoying Excercise for the first time ever, now I've found an activity I like. Healthy eating is going well too and finally found the right balance to help the…
  • Thank you do much! x
  • It's very possible to achieve. I would run for 10 minutes and then collapse in a weazing pile on the floor and give up after 2 days. But I've discovered Couch to 5k, there's lots of them out there, it's based on introducing running slowly. So you do a minute of running and a minute of walking for 20-30 minutes and each…
  • I'm 5ft 4in (163cm).
  • Thank you everyone so much for your support and words!! x
  • Great work! You look amazing!! :o)
  • Sorry, the last picture was huge, I've managed to shrink it. LOL Thank you all so much for your supportive words!
  • Well done! Congratulations on your success :o)
  • Well done on your weightloss. Amazing! Thank you for sharing :o)
  • I'm 5'4" and weight 250lbs, this isnt the heaviest i've been, but its enough to get me back on track. My goal is 133lbs. I managed to get down to 154lbs in the past, but got complacent and stressed and didnt take care of myself. Now it's time to change things 8:o)
  • I can't believe it, day one (again) and my colleagues who are back from holiday, bring back goodies from abroad (again). I was actually feeling very annoyed!! Gerrr I know I shouldn't. I sat at the table glaring at the goodies like someone had left dog mess in their place. Humph!
  • Hi everyone, sorry I've been away. I'm not sure where I am on the scale of things, pardon the pun! I haven't logged for about 4 days. i haven't been pigging out, but I haven't been weighing either :o( Mostly I've been having bread rolls, soup and home cooked meals, especially in an effort to cut out take out, even when…
  • Hi, how is everyone doing? Well, I'm slowly getting back to it! I finally plucked up the courage to go on the scales and my 3 week binge cost me 8lbs, which I'm actually happy it's not more :o) It's been hard this week, because Monday I made a conscious effort to be healthy and the Tuesday I go into work and everyone has…
  • Well I decided to throw my April challenges out the window. With birthdays and Easter and so many cravings, I decided, just for 3 weeks, I would eat what I wanted and as much as I wanted. I felt like I needed to get it out of my system and remind myself why I'm changing my lifestyle. Well, I look 3 months pregnant, I'm…
  • So I've been eating for 2 for two weeks and I'm not pregnant. LOL As I said in my comment, I've needed this to remind myself what I'm giving up. I'm addicted to coffee, my breath is smellier, I look pregnant all the time, I have spots, if I see another Easter Egg I'll throw up and my bra is digging in again. One more week…
  • Argh! I seem to be having too many red days this week. I've not been well and have spent most nights awake and coughing, I feel yukky and have been putting yukky food in my body because I haven't been bothering. But I'm still logging everything and keeping my diary visible. I will be back on track as of today. Healthy…
  • Well, I've lost a total of 1lb, which is a step in the right direction. But more has got to come off, I'm determined! I've been having sneaky pre-weighs and my weight is staying put. So I just have to make sure I flush out sodium and stay in the green as much as possible. Especially now it's hot, I really need to increase…
  • I attempted to jog yesterday! I managed a few minutes and then just did a mega fast walk instead. In my defense I have a bit of a cold! Hahaha But I realise that when I reach my goal, the next thing will be to increase my fitness levels and tone up. How's everyone else doing? @Marianne: the 2lbs will come off easily for…
  • Well, I pushed my luck. I spent 3 days in the red instead of 1 and I paid for it with a 2 lbs gain. Now I'm 4 lbs away from my 2 stone loss. I made healthier choices yesterday and passed up on things, but then my friend and boyfriend started ordering cocktails and just one won't hurt, turned into more drinks and food. But…
  • Hi everyone! This weekend is looking better and better. Today is my planned big eat, but the girls want to go dancing afterwards, which is great!! It means my big may be cancelled out by excercise. Also, I managed to get out of the pub crawl. The thought of all that drink just before TOM and the thought of loosing my 2lbs…
  • How's everyone doing, how's your weekend? Well I'm slowly settling in to my new home and unpacking. I'm please to have lost 3lbs this week, that's my biggest loss since my first month on MFP. A went to lunch with my friend yesterday and made sensible choices and stayed well within my calories. Friday I had a big eat, but…
  • Cous cous and my PS3 move. Oh, and my son, but I didn't buy him! Hehe
  • Well, I've been doing well! I lost the weight I had gained and more! I'm not looking forward to Sunday weight in, it's the week before TOM and I'm spotty and hungry. Yuk!! Which means, I could be heading for water retention city. Hopefully not :o) @Rachel Congratulations on loosing 4lbs!! And being the Biggest Looser! I'm…
