For exercises, i lift weights and do some cardio. To be honest i've been lazy on doing the cardio, perhaps just 1-2x a week lately (also i have the weird problem of after losing 40lbs, i got so used to eating at a -500 daily deficit, i lost toooo much..., and am trying to gain back 10lbs or so now...) I think the ideal for…

That's about 1.5 pounds a week, which is a 5,000 weekly calorie deficit, which is attainable. Just stick with the dieting and exercise, and the results will come. You can do it~!

Good for you! The gym will bring some great results, though intimidating at first. You'll get used to it faster (and easier) than you'd think, and eventually you just might love it! The only gym essentials I think are an mp3/ipod, and a water bottle, after that perhaps a towel if you don't mind carrying it, and your…

Welcome & Good luck! Try to envision the achievement of your goals, for example the happy image of you having lost 2 stones, you CAN do it! What it sounds like is, the sugar from fruits (fructose) is different than table sugar (sucrose). Our bodies break down fructose slower than cane sugar, and in that sense is a "better" sugar.…

Yeah I think egg-whites are best but I don't know how to cook them and they're kinda gross to me for some reason, so for me whey protein powder is the easiest. I've been buying the GNC brand (but any good brand is fine of course), for which 2 scoops with water would give you 40g of protein and 220 calories, and very low in…

I quit all soda years ago, switching to drinks like Vitamin Water , Lipton Green Tea Citrus, Snapple, etc. which have quite a bit of sugar and carbs for a daily staple drink. Only recently though in the past few months have got smarter and drink only diet versions of those drinks, i.e. with zero calories and zero sugar. It…
