One-a-Day vitamins have always given me an upset stomach if I'm not careful. I would say try going a couple days without taking them. If it does, you might need to get your nutrients elsewhere. Is the pain from working out??

The faster you lose weight, the more likely you are to regain it. This is because your body desperately wants its energy source (excess fat) back. Also, those '6 minutes a day' exercises won't work either. You haven't even given yourself a chance to warm up!

Perfect for the first month of college - I'm in!

Fiber works for me! I like the Fiber One cereals in the morning and the granola bars once or twice throughout the day. The 80 cal cereal is really nice though, because you get to have a little more without even meeting the normal calorie count of a normal cereal. With Almond milk, the calorie count is minimal a fiber is…

I'm going on a 12 hour car ride with my parents in a week. It might have to be 13 hours for this reason :)

I have GERD as well. I found that with the right medication (I currently use Aciphex), I can eat just about any food. However, if it's high on spices or grease, the reflux starts to act up.

Preplan your meals for the day our use a small notebook to jot down your calories throughout the day and then add them at you leisure!

I was having similar problems a few years ago during the end of my soccer season. Shin splints, Achilles's tendon pain (almost crippling), and just general pain. I decided to invest in a pair of asics. They're a bit expensive, but over three years later, they are still holding me through my workouts! I can't say the pain…

Haha nice - I know the feeling! Keep it up!

Careful not to cut too many calories while camping! Depending on your activity level, you can burn a ton of calories per day! And in the wilderness, you'll need those calories.
-
I say just make sure to switch up your exercises to avoid a plateau. You don't have to be sedentary all day on rest days, just don't kill yourself every day of the week.
-
You can't really target fat burn, but toning up with the suggested exercises definitely helps as you lose weight overall!

Why not?! I'm in!!

I have an irritable digestive system, and regular fiber always makes me feel great! It works out your colon to keep you 'regular' and it does indeed give you a fuller feeling. Fiber is a great idea to any diet!

I'm so glad you posted this, because I was honestly on my way to post the same thing. I was beginning to think I was the only dieter in the world who didn't like eating more. Today I was about halfway through my calories, then I went to the gym (before dinner), and it set me all the way back to 1200 - I was not thrilled. I…

Can't say I have the same problems, or even understand what such feelings are like, but the MFP community is super supportive! We want you to succeed healthily and safely and we'll stand by you every step of the way. I would, however, recommend talking to a real person about these issues (i.e. not us imaginary people out…

There was life before FB?

I can't give you numbers, but swimming is a fantastic exercise! It works just about every muscle you have.

Abby Wambach!

Whoa - I totally empathize with the busy schedule. I put on most of my weight during the school year because I am studying from 5:30 in the morning until midnight. I am currently taking in about 1000 calories per day, but I am not sure if this is right or not (MFP keeps telling me not and many members have noted they've…

You may have lost the weight in your face first or other places you aren't measuring. If people are noticing, I say that's a victory in it's own right! As for which you should be more concerned with, I think it depends on your own motivation and goals.

By working out, you get more blood flowing to and from your muscles. This will removed some of the lactic acid from your muscles. Sore is sore, but I think once you warm up, you'll feel better!
-
Wow - you are my twin! 5'7" and I weighed in at 196 this morning. Best of luck with your weight goals!

When the late night munchies attack me, I like to pull out my stationary bike and go for about half an hour. Once finished, all I want to do is drink water.

I had a dream last night that I vegged out on everything in my house (and then at my coffee/donut shop). I felt pretty guilty when I woke up...and hungry!
-
I love Tae Bo so much! But I searched all over for the house and I can't find my dvd's :'(

I'm not sure which it could be (it might be either), but I would recommend heat instead of ice (to loosen the muscles instead of making it stiff). Or my personal favorite - Bengay patches. It gets really cold and then warm over a few hours. I have used them on muscle pains before, and about 50% of the time it not only…

I was in the same shoes before I suddenly found my motivation about a week ago. I suggest taking it one day at a time, and get into a routine. If cutting calories becomes a new "norm" in your life, it will be easier to keep up with and not seem like such a challenge! And as I have found, the MFP community is always around…
