It's possible! I was married for 12+ years and have been divorced for 4+. My ex and I share the kids 50/50. They're both in high school and I have a wonderful relationship with them. I can pretty much do what I want when I want. I would love to have someone to do things and share my life with; but it will have to be…

We're all going to die from something. While I'm here I'm going to push my limits and enjoy every minute I have. Impossible is not a word; it's just a reason for someone not to try. ~Kutless

Do it! I've wanted to live in a coastal town my whole life and still haven't. I regret not doing it after college. My kids want me to and would love it as well, especially since their mom and I divorced a few years ago. They're both in high school now, so I'm waiting 4 more years.

I'm looking to make a change in the next few years; so I'll definitely keep checking this thread. The problem I'm having is finding time with my current job to go back to school to get the training/education I would need to make a change, and to find a new career that I could transition into without taking a pay cut.

I did my first triathlon Oct. 8, 2006.

I'm not looking for cardio as I'm running 30+ miles per week and don't even do the cardio workouts on P90X. Last week I ran 4 days, did chest and back one day, shoulders arms another, plus ab ripper 3 days. I like the idea of Total Body Plus, Upper Plus and Abs/Core Plus just to mix up what I've been doing.

Mine just turned 16 and started dating last month. I'll be emailing the kid this one!

I haven't heard of them helping shin splints either. I do wear them in long races (50K's) and on long training runs and they help with muscle fatigue. I also use the recovery socks after races and runs.

I think they work more into the shoulder as well. I first started doing them in P90X. great exercise. They put a strain on your shoulder joint if you don't position your hands just right.

I've heard to try exhaling forcefully when your foot lands on the side where you have a stitch. So if the stitch is on your right side, exhale very hard when your right foot strikes the ground for a few times. I got them when I first started years ago but haven't since. So I can't say for sure if it works.

My usual 4 mile lunch route turned into 5.7 miles of liquid fun! So let's make that 83.82 for the month.

Last week = 18 Total for the month = 78.12 Heading out for 4 in the rain in a few minutes. When it's 73 degrees at noon in Florida in August you better go run!

Yes to P90X. Last week I ran 4 times, did 4 P90X workouts (1 round chest/back and 1/2 shoulders/arms twice), and did the ab ripper video 3 days. Even if you don't follow the program exactly they are great workouts on their own. And by splitting them up you can get more work in.
-
All of the above! My workout schedule varies from week to week depending on which nights I have the kids. This week I've run before work, during lunch, and after work one day. I've also done P90X abs before work twice and two strength workouts in the evening. On the weekend it's usually in the morning though.

Here's a really good start. I've been running several years and took a Good Form class last year. It reinforced some things I was lacking. http://www.newbalance.com/running/good-form-running/61000,default,sc.html Step 1: Posture - Proper posture is the critical first step toward improved running form – one that sets the…
