Thanks everyone. I'm still at 1700 but I now workout with 10 Minute Trainer twice a day and walk/run several times a weeks. I do eat my workout calories and if I gain for a slip I do eat my workout calories and drop a little below 1700.

47 times a day, I weigh in every morning. I also sometimes weigh several times a day if I have a goal I'm trying to reach. I know thats not good tho

yea, I had a Christmas party at work and I ate a lot of junk. I was sick all evening, which is good, wish I got sicker than I did tho. lol

YES. I logged on for thanksgiving and logged everything I ate, going do the same Christmas :wink: And I was WAYYYYYYYYY over my goal to :happy: This as become a way of life for me, adding everything logging in everyday :)

I was eating 1200 calories or less a day eating oatmeal 1 to 2 times a day with artificial sweeteners and I gained weight. I stayed at 1200 per day and that worked great for me. I am now in maintain mode eating 1700 per day plus my exercise calories and I'm still losing. I dont need to lose anymore I'm way to skinny in my arms, belly is flabby but everything else is too skinny.

I lost 118 pounds since Jan (302) and In June I was 275. So I lost the weight pretty quickly. I have been at 1200 per since early June, so a very long time. I do have a day of the week I eat out with friends and my calories went over 1200 on a lot of those days. I want to maintain close to 185, I look wierd, big saggy…

I let MFP do the calorie reset but I went from 1200 to 2100 and it scares the crap out of me because I'm afriad I'll gain back. And that's sooo many calories to eat in one day. I tried it Friday and was way too full I was almost sick. Should I stick with the MFP setting or change it?

If I count it, I eat it!!! Not really but I do lick the spoon. I over count on stuff sometimes, eat less than I counted.

Your body takes the art. sweeter and uses it like sugar, when you eat sugar and a lot of stuff has sugar in it the body deosnt know what to do with it so it stores it as fat, thus you gain weight. Just be strong!!! Remember this is about you getting thinner, healthlier, happier. A friend told me this a few years ago but I started this life style change, "Nothing tastes like skinny feels" If the food is in a room and u are temped, leave that room. Just be strong!!!! You CAN do this!!!!

Its what I have done and its pretty tough to start, but you can eat veggies and cut down on the calories. Its pretty successful but you have to research the foods you can eat. My food dairy viewable if you want to look at what I eat.

I dont drink diet sodas but I do add art. sweeters to my oatmeal. I increased my oatmeal intake to lose more weight and gained 5 pounds and stayed until 1200 calories a day. IMO art. sweeters and diet soda in exceed will cause weight gain. I have cut out the sweeters and losing wieght so for me, art sweeters are bad

Grats, I'm 3 pounds from mine. I am going to strength train like a mad man LOL. I'm going to get in shape for rock climbing in the spring, doing things I couldnt do before. But as for what or how to eat to maintain I have no clue, but you did and I did figure out how to lose the weight, I'm sure we will figure this out as…
