My husband not being able to understand how it truly permeates everything I do, think, and say.

Stay at home mom.

I hope she can find an answer(s) to help bring her peace soon. Struggling with mental health issues can be so difficult and watching your kid (I imagine an adult one is the same) struggle is heartbreaking.
-
Has she tried a therapist? I am not saying her diet can't be improved but it sounds like there is a lot more going on that a professional might be able to help her sort through.

For a memoir, When Breath Becomes Air is amazing. It isn't long but it is so powerful.

Nope, I ended up with a stress fracture last fall and it really sucks. Be patient, I guarantee it will be worth the wait.

I feel sad for the children. The decisions are being made for them, they have no control over their food, and are creating horrible habits for adulthood.

Make whole wheat banana muffins.

If that is all you buy there then I suppose that is true (regarding it just being a big snack bar). I find plenty of healthy, real foods. They have a great return policy if you do have a problem with their produce or you buy something that you just don't like.

I have the wrist one. I have had it for years.

I think I would love 125. I am 37 with 4 young kids so I want to be realistic. Having said that, I am sitting at 135 right now and think 125 is totally reasonable. I do also worry that I will get there and think maybe just a few more pounds but I hope not.

Getting on my Computrainer in a few minutes for a 56 mile ride.

I do that several times a week, it's not that hard.

I would guess you are probably overestimating the amount you are burning per hour as well. 900 in an hour is awfully high.
-
Well, a quick glance through your food diary shows you going over your fat intake every day with the exception of one in the last week. I would take a look at that. Also, are you exercising at all?
-
My first thought was dehydration. How intense are your runs? Distance? Are you eating something within 15 minutes of finishing? Are you trying to run too hard every time you go out?
-
Wow, my gym has a one hour time limit on machines.

I do 3 or 4 days a week. It is usually swimming in the morning then cycling later. I also have one day where I bike then run.
-
Are you sure it isn't related to the time change and your body just hasn't adjusted yet?
-
My belief is if you consistently deny yourself foods that people consider "bad" you are just going to crave them more. I find that a little indulging every now and then is a good thing. I don't feel deprived but I stay in control of how much I eat.

I love cycling, I do it all the time. If you are going to go that route, make sure your bike fits properly by a proper bike shop or you won't be doing your knees any favors.

Swimming, aqua-jogging.

Last week I did almost 13 hours of swim/bike/run. I am training for a half ironman thus the large amounts of time.
-
Beginner Triathlete is good. I am training for an HIM right now and am using a plan from Training Peaks. What kind of distance are you doing? Have fun!

I think the calories burned during exercise as calculated by MFP are over by at least 20%.
