This post is really helpful. I eat in a similar way - and on the days (like Thursday, actually) that I did fall off the eating right bandwagon - it's not a diet, by the way - I just don't post here and maybe I should. Good luck to you and thanks.

It depends on what outcome you want. I agree it can be a reason - and it can be an excuse if you want people to sympathize with where you are now. But really, if you focus on what your goal is, you'll find you don't need any excuses. I wish you all the best.

I find that the days that I post all my calories here, which is a pain and I'm lazy about it, BUT when I do it, and I click: done entering, then I don't feel like nighttime eating. I like the posture comment. I have twins, now 15 years old. So, really, I would advise - yes, yoga will help posture. A book or internet tutorial about posture would be helpful as well: that posture will only get worse if you don't start taking care of it. What you want to avoid, in my opinion, is any very low calorie diet that triggers the "starvation response." Also - are you exercising?
