There are some excellent oven fried chicken recipes on line that would give the hubby his fried chicken and you a lower calorie count. :smile: That's what I do when I'm jonesing for some fried chicken. Hungry Girl has a really good recipe for this (though I will admit I use more herbs/spices because I like a BIG flavor)

I have the same issue and I would also recommend seeing a doc. I have tendinitis and bone spurs in my right knee. Nothing overly bad, but I can no longer run or jump. The elliptical is my friend, as is weight training (not so much on my legs, but arms and light resistance on the legs). I hope you heal quickly!

I did that once. Dropped 10 lbs in a day. it was because I was too upset to eat, talking on the phone for HOURS to stupid aholes that wanted to argue with me about them having my money, stomping around. Yeah, I'd be SUPER skinny if I were a defense attorney. Maybe I should change careers. :smile:

Um...eat something?? My calories are set at 1910 and I do a descent job of eating most of those on a daily basis and I have lost 27 pounds since July 20th. If you don't eat more, your body will hold onto what you have with a DEATH GRIP. Starvation mode. That's what 1200 calories says to me.

If you are trying everything and nothing is working, I would suggest you take your food diary to your doctor (printed out) and find out if there is an under-lying health issue that is holding you back. Under eating is unhealthy for you, just like over eating is unhealthy. You won't lose weight if you don't fuel your body.
