^^^^^^THIS^^^^^ I NEVER eat them back, esp. since an MD explained to me that you are working out to create a cal deficit, so why on earth would you turn around and eat them back??!! Here it is-- the magic of the weight loss world-- 1 lb = 3500 cals 7 days/week X 500 cal deficit = 1 lb lost 500 less of food AND 500 lost…

but you saw where I said, I only logged on here 7/20-8/1, right?
-
I've been avg. 1500-1800 cals per day--WAY too few??????
-
OH, AND I've been eating (salty) hot dogs lately...I know, it was what I could afford.... MFP says I burn 2400-2500 per day or so, so i rounded down to 2000.
-
^^^^LOL^^^^ OK, it's open now but I only logged on here (I have another spot I do it) about 7/20-8/1. Thanks to all so far for your answers! I THINK I'm WAY undereating.

Lots of other info here ahead of mine, but I will add this : 1 lb. = 3500 cals, so to lose 2 lb/week, you should eat 500 fewer cals per day than you are now - 7 days/wk X 500cals/day = 3500 AND burn 500 cals per day -7 X 500= 3500 OR just do half of each of those 2 above if you can't say, burn 500 cals a day, make it…
-
OK, the biggest thing I see is --DON'T eat back your workout cals! Here is the 'secret formula'-- 1. If you exercise 7 days/week and burn 500 cals each day, 1 lb lost each week (500 X 7 = 3500 cals gone = 1 lb.) 2. If you eat 500 cals less per day X 7 d/wk, then that will be 1 lb. lost /week; same math as above. I know…
