  • I'm not gluten free, but want to make the transition in hopes to help my son with his behavior issues and see how it could help our family feel healthier. Would love to learn from you guys. How does the group work?
  • I want in, my instagram is @misfitdiva
  • Here for support, friend requests sent !!
  • peanut butter!!!! or that chocolate hazelnut spread by Justin's!!! or box mix brownies or homemade pumkin bread.....omg....can't have it in the house, can't bake it unless there are enough people right there to eat it before I do! I think it's important to know your trigger foods and why and how to keep them in their place…
  • I don't go to a gym, but lift at home and if I had money to invest in equipment, would totally follow Jamie Eason on Bodybuilding.com. There are so many video clips and workout plans. I am thinking to do P90x or Body Beast though. I have to get my nutrition in line/consistent first or I won't see any results! Good luck!!
  • Love this advice, helpful and real.
  • Wow! So could you tell me a typical days worth of food for you or maybe friend me so I can see your diary? I too don't eat a lot of grains, brown rice and quinoa is really it. I'm not really reaching my cal goals though either. I have learned a lot of sugars in foods, but not carbs in fruits and veggies. Do you have a lot…
  • Hey all....interesting conversation. I too, struggle with sugar and get REALLY mad to see that number so high after a great day in my book....all whole foods, plenty of protein/carbs and healthy fats. I kinda like the advice to just delete that from my goals...but don't know if I am ready for that either. I do enjoy…
  • I am SO wanting to reduce my BF.....I do have weight to lose as well, maybe 10 lbs....should I focus on this first? WOuld still love to be friends with all of you so I can learn how to do this. I need a lot of accountabiility and support with my nutrition. Also, would love to know where you are learning your info on how to…
  • Would love to be friends on here for support and encouragement. My boys are 3 and almost 5 though....not sure if I fit the 'new' part of Mom :) But I def have plenty of empathy and energy to keep you going towards your goals!! And good for you for getting back on here and taking time for yourself! You can do this! It won't…
  • AWESOME!!! keep them coming people, I LOVE this! I have heard Wheat Belly a lot in passing recently, and love that long list above!!! THANK YOU!!!
  • Just wanted to add my encouragement! Keep at it! You will get there and it sounds like there are other great indicators that you are moving in the right direction! I too am discouraged with the scale, but my clothes are fitting differently and I am feeling stronger so that is what I am focusing on! Best of luck! Keep us…
  • This is such a great topic :) I like to think I am setting little goals, but then end up forgetting what my little reward was! I do log my workouts every day and keep track with paper and pencil. At one point I had a pair of jeans hanging on the wall, but they were so out of my reach I just gave them away! ha I am inspired…

  • Hey! I am trying 1200 cals with my macros at 25/40/35. It's low carb which I have never tried, but I am trying to figure out what works for me as I have about 18 lbs to lose. I eat 6 smaller meals a day and have my meal planner set up like this so I just spend time on Sunday filling it in and then eat accordingly :) lts of…
  • Yes, so true. What are a few of your favorite fast and healthy meals? I would love some ideas!
  • Yes, I think posting a question like this will get you all sorts of ideas on what your macros should be at, but you have to do research for yourself and try out different things to see how your body responds and what fits with your lifetyle. This has to be something you can maintain and is in line with your goals. protein…
  • Hi!! I'd love to support ALL of you! As well as be supported :) I really struggle to remember to log in here daily! I'll do really good for a few days and then fall off the map. Not that I'm not eating healthy and getting my workouts in, I just totally forget to check in here. But I do find when I am consistent with my…
  • You should try to cut them out and see how you feel. Although, maybe just focus on one or two trigger foods and not just everything carb/sweet....just a though. I find when I do this, I learn about my habits and my emotional state :) NO fun at all, but so good to do. You will feel stronger in the end!! Good luck!!
  • WOW!! Look at all the support ALREADY! You can add me as a friend too :) Welcome! I need a kick in the pants every now and then too. But I WILL NOT let you quit, that is for sure! I'm excited for you, and all of us really! What a great thing you are doing for yourself. Don't ever let ANYONE talk you out of your goal to get…
  • That is so great that you found a workout you truely enjoy, makes all the difference right?!
  • What is it about Jillian workouts that you love so much? Awesome accomplishments, congrats!!
  • I have weeks like this too and they are so frustrating! And then all of a sudden I will drop and feel really good :) Might be the type of exercise you are doing....when I lift I don't see the scale move but when I do all cardio, I lose. Also, look at your diet what foods could be contributing? Sugar or carbs? For me it's…
  • I feel like I start new every Monday :) I have been loggin my food on my phone, but don't remember to get on the computer to connect with people!! Add me as a 'buddy' here or I'm on facebook a lot if that is better :) Can't wait to push each other to our goals!!

  • what are your calories/fat/carb/protein/sugars set at on MFP? What are your daily goals?
  • I was so shocked when I started tracking how high my sugars were and what foods were high, even though they were fresh and healthy! Staying at 25 is so hard, I like your mindset!

  • Love all the help! I am 33, 2 boys, youngest is almost 3 and I am struggling to lose the mommy tummy too! My biggest set back is sugar :( and I found that High Intesity Interval training has been the best way to trim my whole core. When I eat clean, no sugar and stay on my workouts, I see a huge difference.....now if I…
