Awesome! For the ladies experiencing the sore tushes, I suggest investing in a women's saddle. They are shaped for our wider pelvis'. And also padded cycling shorts and chamois cream like the other posters suggested.

I will when summer break from school starts. Right now I have to drop my kids off on my way to work. But then I will ride to work and it's 5 miles each way. I would still ride if it was 10 miles but more than that probably not.

^^^ All of this! Excellent advice. I used to get shin splints from running until I got properly fitted for running shoes. My real love is cycling and I have never gotten shin splints from cycling no matter how long or far I ride. Good luck to you.

You'll find that a lot of the calories listed for exercise on MFP is high. I usually go with approx 75% of what they say or you can invest in a heart rate monitor that will give you a much more accurate count.

I'll do it. I also started 30DS a few weeks ago...got to Level 1, day 7 or 8 and stopped. So I'll try it again :-)

I'm on Level 1....just did day 8 this morning but it's taken me 2 weeks just to get my 8th day in. Feel free to add me. Hopefully I can be more consistent with friends also doing it with me.

Without having more info to go on, it's going to be hard for people to give you advice BUT I don't think 2 weeks of no weight loss actually constitutes "hitting a plateau". I thought it was more like 2 months of no loss to be considered a plateau.

I'm 5'3". I started at 171 in Jan., 2014 and am currently around 163. GW is 131. I use the elliptical and have a few Jillian Michaels DVD I just started using. I'd love more friends approx. my height/weight/goals. Friend me if you'd like more support.

I see on your profile you want to lose over 100 lbs....I don't see how you can be full eating less than 1000 calories a day. You are starving your body. You must eat more - but make them good calories, not junk.
