once a week, same day of the week, same time of the day

i did that on wednesday for nothing special... just a date cooking class and ate over 800 calories.... I gained a lb this week :( first time ever... oh well! guess there is a first for everything right? I wish i could say it was worth it - but man.... it just wasn't! oh well... a lb isn't a big deal - back to kicking butt…
-
ohhhh what a good idea!
-
I'll be following as well as I'll be doing the same thing!

non fat yogurt apple butter

I noticed in my pants, then in my bra... the first NSV that others commented on was my face! I've been doing this for 2 months and it was relatively quick for a change, maybe 2 weeks? But I have 120lbs total to loose so it all depends on your weight, height and total you have to loose... remember everyone is different and…

i would talk to your doc before cutting to 1000.... anything under 1200 often puts your body in starvation mode thus your body stores fat and doesn't loose any weight.

If you don't want to look awful like me, per my mother (though I have to give it to her she was at least honest!), an idea is yardsales.... people get rid of their stuff super cheap and this is THE TIME of the year for them!
-
funny you wrote about this... I refuse to buy clothes to only stay in them for a week or 2 or 3... This was my MFP status today: "another pants size down!!! Was embarrassed (yet excited) when my mother came over with new clothes saying I looked awful walking around in t-shirts and holding up my super baggy jeans the day…

many people still stay on MFP and log - you just change your settings to maintain vs loose and your caloric intake increases to accommodate.

I tried it at 280 and it was too much. I will say I only gave it one chance and then I said no way but now that I'm under 250 and have more of a drive i think i'll go for it again. The key is knowing your body and what you can and can't handle and following the directions for toning it down. Its killer.

so have you tried the special k cracker chips? They are with the crackers at the grocery store... I like them... mix between a rice cake and a chip... I think they are good. They have salt and sour cream and onion... a serving is 27 chips!!! :) and its only like 120 calories or something... I'm not a pizza fan however my…

I do this if I'm planning to eat out or if I'm planning to eat something specific for dinner or lunch that I want to ensure that I have allowed myself enough calories to stay within my allotment. Otherwise I am comfortable winging it and filling it in at the end of the day or sometimes I fill in before dinner and see whats…

it depends on the circumstances....

okay last post... this sounds awful but it tastes AMAZING... crush 10 pretzels, put jello on top, then 4 tbsp (frozen) whipped cream on top - perfect sweet/salty treat! DELISH! 165 calorie treat (I often eat it as my lunch during my TOM) YUMMO!
-
also don't forget about your skinny cow treats if you are a ice cream lover... their chocolate is pretty good too! I prefer their ice cream... mint fudge cone is TO DIE FOR!
-
my snackie foods are things like 5 or 10 calorie sugar free jello packs.... chocolate is 50 or 60 calorie sugar free pudding. I eat more snack like than meal like so i feel like I'm constantly eating which is what I want to do during TOM... for instance... breakfast I have Thomas nooks and crannies english muffin with I…

every day is a new day. Don't harp on it. You screwed up yesterday? So you did. Today you learn from it and you keep it moving and you don't do it again! Good luck!

But remember no power = no showers!!! Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww! lol

this! MFP is not a diet its a lifestyle change... you have to ask yourself the way you are eating now are you going to eat like that for the rest of your life? If the answer is no then what you are doing isn't going to work for you long term... If I want a sub from firehouse subs I go get one but I pick and choose what is…

DING DING DING!!!!!!!! People who are NOT looking at it this way are using the wrong approach! Diets are the WRONG way to go about it! Its not a DIET - its a LIFESTYLE CHANGE!! :)

walk up and down steps, squats, stand up sit down, jogging in place, jumping jacks things I do at home for cardio. If you have a hubby or partner you can put your feet together and cycle together with your backs supported. HTH!

As I've previously stated, people are judgmental and catty because they have issues within themselves and it makes them feel better to attack others, some of this also stems from jealously. These are not the type of people I need in my life, virtual or not, so I just remain the bigger person and rid them and keep it…

I don't think its cheating... I also believe that if you want to sacrifice another meal or skimp elsewhere to allot for a planned big meal or a nice dinner or lunch or whatever out then you can do that too. I eat whatever I want so long as I am within my calories and every week I loose 3-4 lbs! So its working, for me…

Screw everyone of these jealous SOBs who have nothing better to than to rag on someone else! I'm sorry but I thought we were ALL here for support. Those who have negative things to say about others have insecurities within themselves which they are trying to mask - so don't take it to heart! Personally I say…
