Same here.

Week 1, day 1 complete. I am drenched.

How many days a week do you do her kettlebell workouts? Or does it vary week to week? I have done a few of her workouts and really enjoy them, and want to combine that with my walking (I have a bad knee, so I can't run).

Same thing going on for me as well.

Same here! I look for reasons to use chimichurri. We have a close friend from Argentina who introduced us to this delicious condiment. I made some last weekend and will need to make more soon. Unfortunately, my family doesn't share the love.

Curried red lentils!!

Fantastic job!! My fitbit has helped motivate me in so many ways.

Still not working here. I've disconnected and reconnected multiple times to no avail.

SW 165 CW 150.2 GW 125 I am 5'3.5". That half inch counts. ;) Started on January 26th with the purchase of a Fitbit flex. I've tried multiple times to lose weight, but always regain. This time seems different though. I think the visual of the Fitbit data has made a big difference. I just eat in my calorie range, adding in…

I can't run either due to a knee injury. Every time I try I end up with pain and sometimes swelling. I just speed walk now and manage to do so at 4-5mph, so I am still getting a decent workout with that. I know that I need to have it checked out, but I haven't made that a priority. I suspect that I injured myself doing…

SAH and homeschool mama here as well in the same boat. I will walk laps around the house while kids are doing their independent work, and walk in the afternoons during quiet times most days. We live on a little land, so I walk the perimeter of the property and am still close to the house. I am grateful for that! I will…

Thanks, Nancy, for your reply! I appreciate it!

You're welcome!

Thanks @Christine_72! That helps. MMR gives the mileage and pace per mile. Yesterday I walked 6.18 miles at a 12.19 average time per mile, which works out close to 5 miles per hour. When MMR syncs with MFP it usually logs it as 4.5 or 5 miles per hour. Does that make sense?

My mother, two of my sister, and I all have psoriasis. My father has severe eczema, and has since birth, and uses heavy duty steroid creams. I've seen the long-term affects on his skin, and have not used any for that reason. My mom uses them some, but her psoriasis is pretty bad. The only thing that seems to help mine I…

I have been walking between 3 and 6 miles 5x a week at a 12-13 minute mile pace for almost a month now. I feel great and love being outside. I am curious how long it took for you to have your legs of steel. :) Also, do you think it has made a difference with your hind side? I'd like to add weights in at some point, but not…

Day 5 done, plus squat challenge and 4 mile walk. The crunches...I really dislike those. lol
-
Day 4 complete with 4 mile walk. It is a rest day with squats.
-
Day 3 done with squats and a 2.5 mile walk. That's all I had time for. ;) Good job @fat2fitaddict!
-
Day 2 completed with a squat challenge that builds up over the next 28 days and 4 mile walk.
-
I am in. Just finished day 1.

I'd like to join as well. :) I can't find the group... I am 36, married, homeschool mama to 4 little chicks. I am 5'3" and weigh around 160 right now. I was down to about 145 a year ago, so I am pretty frustrated with myself for that gain. I had been exercising really frequently until about a month ago, due to schedule…

I make this Greek yogurt ranch dressing: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/ellie-krieger/ranch-dressing-recipe.html. I really like it. I do add dill to the seasonings, and sub regular milk with lemon juice for the buttermilk. It tastes best if it has had time to sit and let the flavors blend before using. When I plugged…

Thanks! That helps. I've been eating at 1,200 for a bit, but I find I can only do that for a short amount of time. I am a SAHM as well, so I keep pretty busy around the house.
-
I am a SAHM and homeschool. I do have to sit to do school part of the day, but am up and doing things around the house in between lessons, while kids are working, or after we have finished. I certainly don't sit all day, or even most of the day.

Hi, @jimletta! Fellow homeschool mom here. I live in DFW and have 4 children - ages 9, 7, 5, and 4. I have about 30 pounds to drop.

Thanks, flume_t! It is good to be reminded to not be overkill on the process.
