  • OH I was snacking alright, my problem was I was burning 650-670 calories a day at the gym, but I only thought I was burning 280!!! That make a HUGE impact on the craving for food. I'm also at the gym 5-6 days a week, I need to eat more!
  • I just got a Heart Rate Monitor that tells me how many calories I burn. Today I used it on the eliptical for the first time and it said I was burning close to 400 calories in 30 mins. I too was going by the machine at the gym and for the past few weeks I've burned alot more that what I've been adding. You have to be…
  • Choco, yey, that's great :flowerforyou: !!!! Ok I went to the gym today after my crazy steak craving last night, I needed it  Well, I love love love the HRM I bought! Very basic, you don't have to put in your weight or age. It calculates calories burned by your heat rate. You do have to push a button often to keep…
  • Yeah I have to push a button everytime to take my heart rate. I got a Sportline 910 for $50. I check my heart rate all the time when doing cardio so I just would hold the button down, before I started I thought it was going to be annoying, but it really wasn't.
  • Well I went to the store, yep, one pound bone in rib eye for me tonight  I'm not eatting anything else with it! I can't wait. My husband is setting up the grill now! • OK I got a sportline 910. Could have shopped around more, but I'm like a kid sometimes and when I want something I want it right then! It's very basic. Tells you calories burned based on heart rate, nothing else. I didn't have to put in weight ect, ect, ect... It will work for what I want it for. My main concern was not…
  • I think for measuring, that's pretty close. I'm not buying an expensive scale (would if I could) or going to seek out a nutritionist for help, I'm ok knowing I could be under or over by 3%. Thanks for taking the time to compare
  • I also added cottage cheese onion and one garlic clove  Had to get it alittle more creamy.
  • For Men: Before you use the formulas, there are two measurements that are required: Measurement 1: Bodyweight Measurement 2: Waist Girth (measured at the umbilicus) 1) Multiply your bodyweight by 1.082. Add the result to 94.42. Once your calculation is complete, save the number.=Result 1 2) Multiply your waist girth by…
  • I can't beleive I'm going to type this all out, but this is the formula I followed. I don't know how numbers you divide and multiply by are made up, but here it goes. For women (men have far less todo) Measurements needed: Waist Hips Forearm Wrist 1.) Body weight x 0.732= result 1 2.) Add result 1 to 8.987= result 2 3.)…
  • side note: If you happen to be watching your sodium, this one is very high! I wouldn't eat it if you are getting ready for a weigh in  the sodium is 1291! You could cut 500 by not adding the soy sauce. I used lower sodium soy sauce with this. Just to let you know :ohwell: My food diary is public if you want to see…
  • OK my goal is to be at 20%. I'm 64 inches tall (5'4")
  • I worked out last night, today I'm just beat! I've been to the gym almost 17 days in a row and the few day's I didn't go I worked out at home. • Awe sugar, the "white death" Three years ago before I ever started exercising, I knew it was bad and I had to make a change! I don't use extra sugar in anything! I mainly drink water all day and there hasn't been a bag of sugar in this house in three years! I did cut out morning yogurt, but plan on buying plain and…
  • I love this site, I even saved it under my favs, so I can look at it as a reminder. I really really want a HRM to make sure I'm eatting enough calories. I don't know if I'm eatting enough for all my exercise. Thanks everyone for your responces and support.

  • I have them on my bottom and thighs  I used to be really really sensitive about it. They do lose that red color over time. Just use lots of lotion for now, like everyone else has said. Oh and tanning makes them stand out more. I'm used to mine now, had them for 12 years now, over time they will tone down a bit…
  • I think it affects people differently. For me I gain when I'm happy and lose when I'm under high stress.

  • Hello everyone (Hi Choco  Thanks for the reminder) I've been working out everyday! I'm doing alot more weights because I'm a puney puney chick :blushing: My abs also need tons of work! I've cut my cardio to 30 mins and now do 30 mins of weights at the gym. My biggest downfall in my diet is drinking alcohol …
  • I've been at it 2 1/2 weeks and lost 3 pounds. It is a little dis-heartening when you see massive weight loss in other's in their first week. Seeing a doctor is a great thing todo. I'm in no way an expert, but you should be eatting your exercise calories. It will help you lose weight.

  • Wow that first week I exercised, I thought to myself everyday, I really really don't want to go!!! Now I love it. I have a very very hard time sleeping at night. Since I've been exercising, no more problems  Everytime I'm doing an exercise I feel like is killing me, I think about my bathing suit  So I guess…
  • Yummie yummie carrots  I agree with eatting them with something. I normally make a larger lunch and add them to the side. Or steamed with dinner. If I just eat them as a snack I can eat the whole bag!!!
  • Not sure how to make it healthier, but that food sounds AWESOME!!!! I miss going out for bangers and mash myself
  • Where are my weekend workout gal pals  Well, worked out again today! I weighed myself this morning, I've lost 3 lbs in 2 weeks  I think I am going to add 25 calories a week to my goal till I get to 1300 aday. I do eat my exercise calories, but I really think 1200 isn't enough for me. 5 days a week at the gym…
  • OK I plan on upping it to 1300, but I don't want to do it over night and shock my body. I'm going to add it on by 25 calories at a time  I'm also thinking of taking real rest days. I've been doing yoga for about 45 mins on my rest days. I'll just add it at the end of the day on days I work out then for those 2 days…
  • Yeah, we just have to re calibrate it each time before we use it. It gets moved alot and when my husband uses it I need to re calibrate before I step on. It's not a big deal, only takes a few seconds todo.
  • OOps "DigiTal" scale problems,
  • Hello fellow boozer  I did used to drink alot more, but have learned to tone it down quite alot! I have a drink almost everyday! Pish posh, I know it's bad, but like you, I'm not giving it up. Anyway, my food diary is set to public if you want to check it out. Most of the time I put what I'm drinking at the end of…
