Do abs change from the top down?
Well I must say I've come along way in the sit-up department! In January I couldn't do one! Now I'm doing 3 sets of incline sit-ups and using the captians chair regularly  Well today I was scoping out my abs after a short workout and I think I see the 2 of the 6 pack starting by my ribs! Yey! So is this how it…

Digial Scale Problems
Yesterday I bought a digital scale. It was about $20, brand is Taylor. It started this last night. First weight was accurate. Steped on again before bed and had gained 50 lbs  It was really irritating me. So I took the battery out then put it back in and it was fixed. It did the same this morning as well. I once…

The journey thus far... Some good some bad
When I started using this site I was 137 pounds on a good day, most of the time it was about 140. I've always been alittle obseesed with my weight since I lost 40 pounds a few years ago, so when I saw it creep up from 120 to 140 I knew I had to do something. Yeah, I'm one of those who use this site for a while then…

Shape ups or easy tones
Well I'm thinking about buying a pair. I do walk the dog alot and while I'm not always in tennis shoes, I do wear them a few times a week. I wouldn't plan on wearing them to the gym, I don't think it would be good for running, but I could be wrong. Anyway, I'm wondering if I should go with Reebock or Sketchers? Is one…

Staying active while moving to new home
OK we will be moving very soon. I will most likely not be to a gym in a couple of weeks. I won't have a dvd player. Should I workout a week straight?
Ok in the past I have over worked myself. I was working out 5-6 days a week for almost 2 hrs each time. Since then I've cut back to 4 days a week, doing 2 days weights and 2 days cardio an hour each time. I'm starting to see results again from doing this. I have an up comming minor surgery that will put me out of the…

Don't know how active I am :-(
Well I generally thought I was light, but I'm thinking I may be more active than that. I'm working out 4 days a week at a gym (two days cardio and two days weights an hour each) When I'm not at the gym I'm walking the dog  I count all this as working out so I don't consider it my activity level. When I'm at home I'm…

Carb, protien, fat ratio. What do you set yours at?
I've been looking at some stuff online and it seems there's a different mix for most people. I'm looking at changing mine on MFP mostly because the protien is just way to low for me to handle. I'm not a "wing it" kinda person if I'm tracking something  Anyway, just wondering what percentages you use if you've changed…
