I have experienced divorce, the ugly kind that ends with an Order of Protection and a Guardian ad Litem for the kid and visitation drop offs and pick ups at the police station. I have to tell you though true love does exist. I found it anyway after the heart ache and pain. You have to be open to it though. Use what you…

^^^^ There is nothing about him or the things I did for him that I miss. I thank God he is out of my life, well sort of, but I only have to deal with him every other weekend when he comes to get and drop off my son.

Bodyrock tv will give you free workouts. BodyBuilder.com has free workouts too.

You look fantastic.

Exactly. If you do not work out you should eat 1676 if you do eat more. If you stay at 1676 you will eat above BMR and still have a deficit and lose. That is what I would do. I'd rather eat than starve. If I have to exercise to keep my deficit then that is what I do. I go for a walk or jump on the elliptical while watching…

Enter your info here http://www.fat2fitradio.com/tools/bmr/ you will get a little chart that tells you how much to eat. Assuming you are healthy and your BMR is average you should lose a pound a week eating according to the chart.

If her maintenance is 1690 and she works out and burns 200 calories she now has 1890 for her maintenance. She can eat 1200 and have a 690 calorie deficit. She could now eat 1390 and still have a 500 calorie deficit. IMO she needs to work out more not eat less.

Go here http://www.fat2fitradio.com/tools/bmr/ figure out your BMR and look at the chart. It will tell you how much to eat for your activity level so you have a 1lb a week loss. You need to know your body fat%. If you do not know it use the calculator on this site for the military. Try this for a month and see what…

You could also exercise a bit at that point and eat some of your exercise calories back. Just saying...

http://www.fat2fitradio.com/tools/bmr/ figure out your BMR here. You need to know your body fat % if you do not know it use the military calculator on the same site. It is most accurate. Then look at the chart and eat the amount of calories it tells you to eat for your activity level. It will give you a 1lb a week loss.

You look amazing!

He should have done a blood draw and had complete blood work done. He can check all your levels to see if you are deficient in anything. He should have done that before he told you to stop logging. Sounds like you have a good plan though. Switch to maintain, eat better, drink lots of water and take a multivitamin until you…

I burn between 500 to 1000 calories a day when I work out and I do that 5 days a week. If on one of those days every few weeks I want a burger and fries because I'm craving it. I'll eat it. If I feel like taking 200 calories one day from the average 750 I burned to eat a piece of milk chocolate I will. I don't do it…

I think you have done great! That is a pretty significant difference for 30 days. I have to get this.

The only thing you are having trouble with is term TDEE. TDEE is your Total Daily Energy Expenditure. This is the total amount of calories you burn including your exercise. 3429 is your TDEE. The lower number, 2858, is how many calories to eat. This number has your deficit worked in. So you are right about what to eat.…

If you set your activity to sedentary then you can count it as activity but if you factor it in to your lifestyle and list your job as active then it's included in your calorie count and you can't count it as activity.

I'll be 39 in a few weeks if that counts.

Maybe give this a try http://www.fat2fitradio.com/tools/bmr/ If you enter your info it will tell you how much to eat to lose a pound a week for your activity level. Seems like it is giving you between 1650 and 2300 depending on your activity. Try it for a month and see what happens.

Thank you for this post and the encouragement!

Go here http://www.fat2fitradio.com/tools/mbf/ find out what your body fat % is. Then go here http://www.fat2fitradio.com/tools/bmr/ and find out what your BMR is. The best part is that that site will also tell you how much to eat for your activity level to lose those 9 lbs so good luck! Now that you know your body fat (Did you use the military calculator? It's the most accurate one) go here http://www.fat2fitradio.com/tools/bmr/ and find your BMR and how many calories to eat to lose…

Katch McArdle IS your BMR. The 2126 (IF you got that off the chart below where it says "How Many Calories Should I Eat") is the number of calories you should eat for a sedentary lifestyle. TDEE is the number of calories you should never go above. BMR/Katch McArdle is the number you should never go below. 2126 is your…
-
20 % added to that number is your TDEE. It is the number you should never eat above or you will gain.

That would have been my solution to the problem at 19. Now that I am a mom that still would be my solution. You need to talk to your parents and your parents have to check his behavior. It is rude, disrespectful, belittling and bullying. And it is WRONG. Your parents should not allow him to treat you that way or anyone…
