  • That's great. Now enjoy watching your body fat % drop and your muscle definition increase.
  • There is a WW near me next to a restaurant called Porky's. It's like a comedy show watching them go from WI to hot dogs and burgers at Porky's.
  • I don't lie to myself about the calories I am eating. I log everything. I keep my diary closed now though. It used to be open but everyone has such different opinions about what I should be eating and how much I should eat that I finally decided it isn't really anyone's business what I eat.
  • Are you eating enough? You might not be eating enough to handle such a vigorous workout routine. Find your body fat % here http://www.fat2fitradio.com/tools/bf/ then do the BMR calculator here http://www.fat2fitradio.com/tools/bmr/. At the bottom of your results there will be a chart that will tell you how much to eat for…
  • I have the Fit Bit. I have noticed that it will track any bumps as a step so if you are driving in a car and it is a bumpy ride it will log those as steps too. I don't have a BM to compare it to but use my HRM during workouts to make sure I get an accurate burn to enter since the Fit Bit does not measure heart rate or heat…
  • You might need to eat more than that. You just need a deficit, to eat lest than you burn, to lose weight. I would recommend finding out what your BMR is and than eating at least that many calories. http://www.fat2fitradio.com/tools/bmr/ This is a good site to figure out what it is. Your BMR is the amount of calories your…
  • I don't think all the money in the world could buy me what I most want... Cures for my son and brother, both have chronic lifelong illnesses. But I'd definitely donate tons of $ to try to find them cures. I'd put money aside for their treatments, money aside for my kids, nieces and nephews college funds and have some fun…
  • ^^^This! I can say "Damn she's hot!" But to actually do another girl, umm no thank you. I enjoy men and all the have to offer too much for that. I also know all the mess that goes on down there and wouldn't go near anyone elses.
  • I never noticed this but then I don't eat my adjustment back. I eat back true exercise calories from my fitbit. Is there an average that you have noticed? Is it usually around 50 cal? I usually hit my calorie range on the FitBit for the day and it is usually close to what MFP has me eating. If you go over by just a few I…
  • Once you download the program and follow the instructions, you enter in the number for your fitbit and you are good to go. You then have to sync it with MFP from the fitbit site. I enter food and exercise on MFP not on fitbit. MFP will update the fitbit but if you enter info on the fitbit site it will not log it here. I…
  • ^^^ No monthly fee is a huge +
  • I know it seems counter productive but you need to eat more. This is a good post with information that will tell you how to figure out how much to eat http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/538381-in-place-of-a-road-map Basically find out your body fat % using the link he gives. Then find your BMR again using the link he…
  • You can eat more than 1200 calories if you make the right food choices. I have been doing both WW and MFP for a while. I eat around 1600 calories sometimes more. I make healthy lower point choices, fruits and veggies are free, and I eat back my activity points and my weekly points. You can also do simply filling which will…
  • You look amazing! No way I would have guessed you were over 50 from looking at that after picture! Congrats on all the healthy changes as well.
  • Awesome idea
  • In the first month of upping my calories I lost only 2 lbs. I have lost 2 lbs in the last week. It'll work out. Good for you for sticking with it.
  • No problem. I know it is hard to know what to do without the booklets. My friend gave me her DVDs but could not find the paperwork so I had to look for it online. Not all the pages are there but most are. I printed it all out and read through most of it. How do you like it as a workout so far? I'm looking to start next…
  • If you read the paperwork that comes with p90x they recommend at least 1800 calories a day. You won't be able to sustain the workout on that few calories. You can do what you want of course but you will not benefit from the program the way it was written and the way it was meant to be used if you don't follow it. Of course…
  • Offer solutions then and make a recommendation don't just state an opinion like it is fact without backing it up. Offer some advice. Share what you know. To the OP maybe you need to reevaluate what you are doing. Counting calories does help but a low calorie diet is not for everyone. I think eating more sometimes helps. It…

  • I'm not a guy but I always take off my rings when working out even if just going out for a run. Calluses are not attractive on girls.
  • It's a great feeling! Congrats! This is a fantastic NSV.
  • Dr Oz says that losing 35 lbs make a man grow an inch. So 35 lbs is the magic number for men. If it happens to men why wouldn't it happen to women too. Remember 35 lbs = an inch.
  • I have so many. So hard to choose. My crockpot, rice cooker with steaming basket, my scale, measuring cups and my Ninja. I use most of these every day. I really want a Foreman Grill, bread maker and pasta maker. I'm on this kick to eat less processed foods and like to have home made pasta and bread.
  • You look fantastic and he is adorable.
  • Honestly the best way is with a HRM otherwise you can track it as circuit training I suppose or you can search strength training in the cardio section of your exercises and see how many calories you burn. It won't be accurate though w/o a HRM.
  • You look great! Love the tats. Are you doing Turbo Fire now?
  • Thanks all! Lot's of info. I got my DVDs from a friend so I don't have a coach. I am planning on starting this week, when my LO gets better. He's been sick and clinging to me 24/7. lol. I hope to see progress. I did Turbo Jam and did not see much happen while I was on it. I use a HRM so will definitely try to keep an…
  • Sounds like you have all the DVDs. I did it for a month and did not lose anything, not a pound not an inch. I stopped doing it. I think I was already doing lots of cardio and had hit a plateau so this wasn't really stepping it up enough for me. But it is lots of fun and if you don't do lots of exercise already you should…
  • I'm a stress eater. I try not to keep junk in the house now. When I do binge now it is usually on healthy stuff so it can be a lower calorie binge even if it does push me over my calorie limit. Sometimes I do bring stuff home to eat but usually I can stay away.
