I love greek or icelandic yogurt with a litle splash of kashi go lean crunch. --be careful though - a lot of the greek yogurts with fruit are loaded with sugar. i prefer the Yoplait 100 2x protein fat-free ones http://www.yoplait.com/products/yoplait-greek-100-yogurt or Siggi http://skyr.com/skyr.html ps-- the vanilla ones…

i regularly make "breakfast for dinner" and will make a massive omelet with some regular eggs and some just egg whites. i get the protein i want, but i can keep the cholesterol lower (i have issues with mine). it's also good because having at least 1 yolk makes it feel more substantial.

i pretty much LIVE on sandwich-ready tuna packs - http://www.starkist.com/product/ready-made-tuna-salad-chunk-light they're so easy and individual sized. plus, the completely eliminate the "i've made tuna and now the entire dorm/apartment smells like tuna" problem. and they're great to pack & go!

i completely get it! i often find that eating-back all my exercise calories is just way too much food, especially when my protein levels are high that day. i never force myself to eat just for the sake of having my "net calories" reach a certain point .

I'm in the same boat - had to run with my BF last night and nearly DIED. feel free to add me and we can cheer each other on!

hey- Biochem makes a vegan protein powder mix in both vanilla & chocolate - i've never tried it, but my friend said it's pretty good. http://www.biochem-fitness.com/powders.html and not pricey, so it might be worth a try. Let me know if you end up liking it

great topic! was JUST thinking about adding protein shakes to get my protein up. i seem to stall out around 60-70g per day.

Siggi's Icleandic-style yogurt (fridge) & granola Mott's snack & Go Applesauce packs - super easy & fun to eat! (http://www.motts.com/products/34/motts-snack-go-natural-pouch) Propel Zero Fitness Water power packs and a couple of fiber-one chocolate/PB bars for emergencies.

there is nothing harder than trying to lose weight in a healthy way when you are used to the unhealthy way... welcome.

for mascara - i'm partial to Lancome Definicils (they discontinued my Maybelline sky high curves & i have yet to find ANYTHING that really compares...) i also picked up one of those "15 different kinds of mascara in sample size" boxes at sephora once (it was on sale & i had a gift card) and it was a GREAT way to try out a…

I'm in my mid-(ok, now closer to late) 20s and recently starting dating a guy a few years younger. his roommates and friends are even younger. and i HATE to admit, I recently picked up a few juniors tops and sundresses for outdoorsy outings (parks, south street seaport etc). they were much cheaper in price, and actually…

I've been subbing out the pasta part for this http://www.house-foods.com/Tofu/tofu_shirataki.aspx (it's a low-cal, low-carb tofu-based subsitute) - if you use lower-fat cheese it sorta balances out. trader joe also makes a "guiltless mac & cheese" - it's pretty good & i keep it in my freezer in case of mac & cheesemergency

I had issues with fainting and dizziness and finally found out i was severely anemic. Maybe a visit to your GP to have some blood-work done? I also chug Propel Zero Fitness Water constantly. It's got vitamin B, C, & E in it. You can get it in powder packs & mix it into your water. For some reason that really seemed to help.

i probably eat a greek salad 5 times a week. love them, and love a lot of greek foods. i've also recently become obsessed with Tofu Shirataki (and stuff like it) http://www.house-foods.com/tofu/tofu_shirataki.aspx it's basically a tofu-based pasta-like product that i can enjoy when i'm craving pasta. granted, it's not…

Do you have a good prep/recipe for squash-pasta?? Every time I've tried to make it, it's come out looking terribly, terribly wrong... (tasted fine, but was basically a giant lump/pile...)

Dannon makes a version of their "Light & Fit" yogurt that is Carb & Sugar Control. It comes in Strawberry and Vanilla -- I greatly prefer the strawberry. http://www.lightandfit.com/products.html

this looks awesome! (who knows if i'll actually like it, but it's worth a try!) thanks for the tip and the "let it soften first" tip!

For ever low-carb diet out there, there is another higher-carb, diet as well. I'm certainly not a nutritionist, but I think weight loss has more to do with figuring out your own body chemistry and what cuts/adds to your diet work best for you and keep you energized and happy. I keep an eye on my carbs not because they're…

Hello! I'm new to this site -- I've been hooked on the iphone app for a few weeks now and it's changing my life. It forces you to be accountable for you decisions. It's almost funny -- I scarfed a few cookies at work the other day and realized that they were more calories/fat/carbs than my entire dinner...
